Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Alabama.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“We enjoy bringing our grandkids here. They have a lot for the kids to do. It is pricey. We bought our tickets online and saved 4.00 a ticket. With tickets , drinks and then lunch. We spent $36.00 a person. You have to pay 8.00 more if you want a pumpkin. There were 7 of us, it was $252.00. . If you take your own drinks and food you can do it for 25.00 a person. That's a lot. But, with all that said, I don't know where you can get 10 hours of fun if you want to stay that long, for that price! So, overall, it is worth it to us. 😀”

“First time to visit 4D. It will not be the last. It was worth the one hour drive south to attend. $21.95 a head if you buy online. Bring some extra money (they accept credit/debit) The admission price doesn't cover everything. The website is very thorough and informative. The layout of the entire area is well thought out. Enjoy with the entire family.”

“This is a beautiful place! Took my Daughter-n-law for her birthday. Walked among rows and rows of beautiful tulips. They had rides for the kids, a petting zoo, food , music and other vendors as well. We had to try out the tube slide. It was awesome. Also picked some Tulips!”

“Lovely pumpkin patch, especially on a beautiful Fall day. Unfortunately, we went during the week on a school field trip and there were many rides that were not open. Most employees were very polite and helpful, although a couple didn't seem to be helpful with information because they didn't know the answer to our question. Perhaps new hires, so I didn't count off for that. There was also confusion as to where the parents were supposed to wait to meet with their school's students. The parents that had bought tickets online were told a different area than the parents that bought tickets there, even though we were all waiting for the same school. It caused a good deal of confusion. The hayride to the corn maze, as well as the maze itself was great! All the kids in my group thoroughly enjoyed themselves! We all wished we could have had more time there, especially since it was very crowded (several schools) which created long lines. The kids loved the slides, the little crooked house, the bounce mats, and the corn pit! Overall, great experience! I would definitely like to go back on a weekend when all the rides are open. We also really enjoyed panning for gems!”

“It has a lot. It’s expensive for me when I don’t do any of rides. They need a less expensive entrance fee for papa’s and grandma who don’t ride just come along to see the kids. Food and snacks are fresh and first rate. Many things for many ages to enjoy.”
