“My Harvest Host stay at 4e Winery in Mapleton, North Dakota was one of the most enjoyable and relaxing stops of my travels. After a long day on the road, Bella and I were welcomed by Greg and Lisa Cook, the proud founders and owners of this remarkable winery. Their warmth, hospitality, and passion for what they have created made us feel immediately at home. The winery itself is beautiful, peaceful, and the perfect place to unwind. I enjoyed a wine flight featuring the Prairie Star, La Crescent Reserve, and Marquette, along with a special tasting of the 2023 Frontenac. Each wine was exceptional, showcasing the quality and potential of North Dakota wines. The highlight of dinner was the Korean Bulgogi special, which was absolutely spectacular. The winery’s 100% vegetarian menu celebrates local ingredients, offering vibrant flavors and creative dishes that pair beautifully with the wines. As a photographer, I also appreciated the beautiful setting, rolling prairie views, and relaxing atmosphere that made this a wonderful place to spend the evening. “We had the pleasure of meeting the owners, and the experience was perfect. They told us the history of the place, the wines, and the famous hard lemonade. They also have a delicious vegetarian menu; you won't miss the meats. We slept in our RV, and the night was very peaceful with very nice neighbors from other RVs.”
