“Stopped here back in mid-May with my family while staying in Talkeetna. Such a fun stop with delicious birch syrup and birch syrup goodies! The local Sunshine bus will also stop here if you call ahead and ask, which was perfect since we didn't have a car. We came just after harvest season ended, so we didn't get to have a live tour of the syrup making process, but they had a nice video of their process along with tree tapping and syrup collecting items you could view. The tasting was the absolute best part though! Try all the syrups to see which one is your favorite, each syrup has its own unique taste. They have other goodies too you can taste like their birch syrup caramels which are to die for, and other items like Alaskan made teas, soaps, and pottery. They will also ship your goodies home to you, so you don't have to worry about TSA confiscating your precious syrup. The birch water is also nice and refreshing. In the Summer months they have homemade ice cream with a birch syrup flavor. We met the original owners while there who've since retired, and it was neat to talk with the original folks who started it all. Be sure to stop by if in the Talkeetna area!”

“If I could put 10 STARS ********** I WOULD. A great visit, all is explained about the different types of syrups andhow they come about, and you get to taste the syrups b4 you buy! From early season to late and even a reserve syrup... The lady's in the shop were so very helpful. Did you know they also ship the goods. I did it as I didn't want bottles potentially smashing in the luggage. Sending to Australia! Super helpful, heaps of things to buy and a must do is a scoop of their Birch Syrup icecream...OMG AMAZING. GO THERE IF YOUR IN ALASKA”

“This was a local and unique gem. The syrup and candies are both delicious. They are the leading birch syrup producers and excited to share their product. They walked us through the tasting, emphasis on early and late season differences in taste. I imagine that the room is small for large tours, but quite comfortable in the shoulder season. They also provide probiotic and fungal holistic products.”

“Came here on a whim while driving towards the downtown area and so glad we did. Prices were better than downtown for many items. The selection was well curated. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. It was also way more informative. I was happy to learn about all the birch trees we were driving by. The tasting was helpful because they are all so different.”

“My husband and I stopped here for some ice cream and it was delicious! We got Fireweed Honey and Birch Brittle. The flavor and consistency of the Fireweed was really good, but the Birch Brittle was my favorite. If you're driving by, make sure to stop and get a scoop!”

“We stopped here after seeing it on the way to another activity. We specifically were excited for ice cream. Couldn’t tell from the website what flavors they had but could see in reviews they did have ice cream. The place was super cute. We didn’t go on a tour since the kids were a bit worn out by then, but saw a tour happening and looked interesting. The little shop was cute and had a lot of birch flavored things. They had four ice cream flavors - very interesting flavors. I found the blueberry the best but didn’t try the birch which others in my party liked best. I would say if you are specifically looking for someplace for ice cream, this isn’t it. The ice cream is an interesting addition to a unique attraction about birch syrup.”

“Cute little shop with locally made products and syrups. They have items set out for taste testing and several employees there to answer questions. We bought some breakfast syrup and blueberry syrup and can’t wait to make pancakes!”
