“I'm happy i found this place. The apple cider donuts arethe best I've had in a long time. The apple pie we bought is just as amazing. Most of all i love the cider i bought, not sure what apples they use but it has a slight tartness to it the i absolutely love. We're located in iowa about 2hrs away. I will definitely be making the drive back next year for my yearly dose of apple cider. The prices were great, not over priced like most places. Bring cash.”
“Apple hut will always have a special place in my heart since it was where my dad used to take me when I was a kid for Apple cider donuts. My fiancé (who’s from poplar grove and said YOUR donuts are better than your southern competitors donuts) and my daughter have now come with me and I’m so happy I get to share this piece of my life with them.”
“Very helpful and friendly workers. Picked a stuffed full bag plastic of apples for only $5. Huge selection of interesting flavored jelly/jam and desserts. Would make the 40 min trip there again just for the fluffiest, yummiest apple cider donuts ever. These are not grocery store apple cider donuts but fresh, hot fluffy bites of heaven!”
“Best fresh donuts in stateline when fresh and hot. Cash only but significantly cheaper than Edwards, skellys, and others. Small operation without the tourist and kids stuff of the others. Good cider and tasted exactly as you would expect. Highly recommend if you are serious about donuts and getting a lot of apples affordably.”
