“My bf Bruce and I went to Fairbanks -1st trip together. This cottage was PERFECT!! Quaint, cozy, spotless, EVERYTHING WE NEEDED! Even a washer and dryer so we could travel super light. We had made plans to go fishing south for 2 days so we let Brad know we’d be gone. Well-on THAT trip, our guide lost our boat and he had to jump in the water to save it-he and the raft disappeared. (They are ok) Bruce had JUST gotten a new iPhone 3 weeks ago and we were rescued by helicopter due to the iPhones ability to get our location. We got back to the cottage a day late since we were so traumatized and exhausted from our experience. (Decided to stay in a hotel since we were looking at a 5 hour trip back to the cottage) The following day Brad contacted us, called us and then came OVER so we could share what happened! He was SO RELIEVED WE WERE OK!!!! He stated he was ready to call the Troopers since we weren’t back when we said we would be. Nicest people, so kind and caring-concerned about us. A FAR CRY FROM OUR FISHING GUIDE WHO IS LIVID WE CALLED FOR HELP SINCE HE WILL NOW HAVE TO PAY FOR THE HELICOPTER RIDE. NO CONCERN FOR US IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM. This part IS COMPLETELY DIRECTED TOWARD THE GUIDES GF-STEPHANIE. That however is another story. This cottage and Brad WREACK OF KINDNESS AND HOSPITALITY!! Probably will never come back to Alaska, but if I did, I would definitely stay with them again. BONUS-they have the BEST GOODS AT THE Farmers Market!!! NO PLACE BETTER TO STAY❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️”

“Brad and his wife, who we never did meet are awesome people. We had some issues we had to deal with and I screwed up on the one night reservation and they took care of us. Very clean very comfy cozy place. I’d stay there again in a heartbeat. Our first night there we saw a bull moose which was awesome. We made plans to go fishing down south for two nights and we didn’t get back on the second night. He was all concerned wondering something happened to us while we were fishing which something did. His concern was very nice. It is very good to know that there are nice people out there, and he and his wife are one are two of them. Thanks again Bruce and Trish”

“We had an amazing stay! So peaceful and the animals were great. It was perfect for the whole family. The couple that runs the farm are incredible (so much so my seven year old daughter wanted to stay with them when it was time to leave so she could help take care of the farm). We can't wait to plan our next visit!”

“Lovely place to stay in during the winter. It has all you need, its close to town but at the same time is private and away from light pollution. We saw the Northern lights from the driveway!”
