Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Iowa.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“I love this place because it shows what fall looks like to a T. Tractor rides, corn play place for children, corn cannon, a little playground that the children can do whatever on, it's got a good width for multiple children to walk beside the other. A huge slide that you slide down on a sack(makes you go faster), an inflated out of the ground jump area (of course no shoes or pointy objects). A little area that has animals you can pet and interact with. Theres bales of hay that you can go play on, walk on, walk through, walk around, basically anything. Corn Maze, a little swing beside the slide for children to swing on & take turns. GREAT PARKING. ABSOLUTELY GREAT PARKING! THEY ARE MAKING IT BIGGER! (Still was critiquing it when I was last there but could of finished it since) Little concession stand, different areas to take great pictures. There IS a pond so you do need to keep a close eye on your children. But you can buy pumpkins, gourds, flowers, and I'm unsure what else here, I'm always in a hurry when leaving it seems. Friendly as heck place and very reasonable for price!”

“Visited Autumn Acres for a field trip. Fun hidden gem that I hadn't heard of and live less than an hour away. This quaint property has a little bit of everything! Ball cannon and slingshot over an small lake, basketball shootout, tetherball, gunnysack slide, corn sand pits, mini cafe, picnic area, round hay bale climber (huge area), corn maze, playground, small petting zoo area, hay rides, and of course an amazing shop/greenhouse filled with more things than I can list to decorate inside and outside of your home. Prices are very cheap for the amazing experiences and memories you'll take home with you. Staff are friendly and accommodating.”

“Love love LOVE this place! We took our 2 year old great niece here and she was in toddler heaven! Giant slides, tractor rides, animals, "barrel train" rides, campfires, giant jump pillow, corn box.....the list goes on and on, of awesome stuff to do with the family! We saw all ages there, and EVERY one was having a blast! This is a must do for the fall season!”

“This is one of the best Pumpkin patches around. Good variety of food. Fun activities for all ages; hay ride, sling shot, air cannon, tether ball, big slide, corn maze, bags, and more. Wonderful selection of pumpkins and fall plants. Cute outdoor decorations for the yard. Easy to find. Great organized parking. Workers were kind and professional.”

“Very fun family friendly place! They have a amazing green house onsite too with plenty of floral selection and some home/outside decorations.”

“The kids really enjoyed going this year! Cannot wait for next year! Love the Crack Chicken Chili at the food stand 🤤”

“Had our 3M club family fun day here. Everyone had a great time. Something for everyone.”

“This was a cute little pumpkin patch recreation area. The cost to get in was reasonable, and you got some tickets for the the sling shot and cannon with admission. There was a very cute greenhouse area with a lot of things for sale. They offered all the fun fall activities; corn pool, animals, hay ride, hay maze, corn maze, giant jumping pillow, games, slides, tractor train, play place, and more. As soon as we were leaving my daughter asked when we could come back.”
