A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Ohio.

  • Check whether this stop is a stand, orchard tour, or full farm experience before you arrive.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.

“Reasonable prices! Nice people, business has been there for decades. Pick your own or off-the-wagon pumpkins, straw bales and corn stalks very reasonably priced compared to other places we checked. Grandpa’s Donuts, coffee, cider, lunch food, Indian corn, hay rides, and more. Make sure you check hours open. On Rt 301/Elyria Rd.”

“Love the family tradition of going to Badgers! The kids get a kick of going into the patch and picking their own pumpkins - and the pumpkin donut holes are amazing. The staff is ALWAYS friendly - can't wait to go again this year!”

“Very nice and friendly place to go. They have goats and sheep to pet, hay rides, food, pumpkin donuts, hot or cold cider and slushy drinks. Of course pumpkins and corn shucks for sale at a reasonable price.”

“Amazing family owned farm! We’ve been going since babies and now I get to bring my own babies! Don’t forget about to take your picture in front of the giant inflatable pumpkin! 🎃”

“What a huge pumpkin farm! This was such a wonderful family adventure! So many pumpkins to choose from and a fun little ride back to the patches.”

“The normal pumpkins are all $3, and the fancy ones are $4. A lot of the gourds are 2 for $1. Great prices and the people there are really sweet!”

“We love to drive out into the fields and pick our own pumpkins, but it's hit or miss at this location, which is a shame because we have been going there for years. Perhaps invest in some hydration or irrigation in order to ensure a better crop. Pumps, pipes, an proper drainage will help you grow a more predictable crop. Wishing you the best.”
