“You gotta show up early to truly get the advantage. However, I went to both locations and was able to get: eggplant & carrots (see pic for what I did), red: (pears potatoes and bell peppers), butternut squash, chicken broth, fresh bread and muffins, starfruit, bib lettuce, tomatoes and more. There were also asparagus and other fruit/veggies. ...some items were bruised, of course, but if you're bothered by FREE bruised food, you can pay for the unbruised lot at the store. I was able to collect 2 grocery bags for a needy family and some items for myself. Most items are unlimited so u can get as many as you like. I'll be back next Wed.”

“What a wonderful organization for Baltimore City to have. Feeding people, clothing swaps, growing organic urban gardens, workshops, community outreach and support. Support, donate and volunteer! #BALTIMOREFREEFARM - Free organic food giveaway every Wed. 12-2pm”

“Lovely and welcoming place! At the front is the community gardens where plots can be rented. At the back is the free farm itself, where volunteers help run both the farms and the greenhouse where seedlings are grown for future plantings.”

“Great community hub. Every Wednesday at noon they provide the community with free food, mostly fresh produce and bread. Community gardening volunteer opportunities are available as well!”

“Everyone here is great - so many amazing volunteers and people in the community, and they are all so welcoming. I feel like I'm actually a part of a neighborhood.”

“This is a radical community! Lots of great workshops, some free some on a sliding scale. Also just a really cool bunch of people”

“Great place to relax and do some volunteer gardening.”

“Didn't buy anything but, it was a great experience. I wish they had more electronic type vendors. Only advice is to improve the storefront appearance. Don't get me wrong, it had a great sign and banner outfront with the different vendor's logos displayed on it, but I think the overall look and feel of the storefront was boring and offputting. They could easily grab everyone that walks by the area for business with simply adding a permanent sign that highlights their logo and brand. I'd be glad to assist with the sign and logo design. As well as advertising around the area more.”
