Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Montana.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

What visitors say

“Every year the Pumpkin Queen (Nicole) provides a special place for both adults and children to enjoy. The hay maze is ever evolving as they change it up mid season so the second time you visit that season the maze is different. As you wonder through it you will find a bouncy house, some other surprises and my son’s favorite, a combine made out of hay. The event area is fully enclosed by a wall of hay creating a safe place for the kids to play. As for the pumpkins, the selection is well stocked with the perfect jack-o’-lantern prospects to scrumptious gourds to eat and for those that have the need to go big or go home…she has a bobcat loader to get your new pumpkin into your truck. lol. The maze of Brews is a super fun event for the Adult night out! In short the Beaverhead Maze and Pumpkin Patch is a family favorite year after year.”

“Took our toddler granddaughter. We all had a lot of fun. They do a great job out there. Both of the mazes are interesting and fun with incentives to explore the whole maze. They also have a couple of fun adult attraction events. Fun place to celebrate Halloween.”

“It was super fun! Kids had a blast with all the activities. We went on a Thursday not busy at all which was nice we pretty much had it all to ourselves. Everyone was friendly.”

“Fun time doing the corn and bale maze. Bring a drink on the warm sunny days , but please pack out your trash from the maze”

“Pretty cool! The kids loved it! Lots of fun things to do and a great way to spend an afternoon with the family!”

“Very fun corn maze, hay bale maze, slides, bowling, corn bin/sandbox, and more.”

“Super fun! They have fun activities, events, and a fun for all age groups.”

“Didn't enjoy as an adult. Paid $15.00 for the haunted maze. Not much there to make it scary, haunted, etc. Admin should have been $5.00.”
