“Every year, from mid-April to mid-May, the Beck Brothers farm opens itself to the public for a special event: Blueberry picking! There are acres of blueberries growing in neat rows, and they're full of fruit. You enter the farm, park in a grassy field, grab a bucket at a table by the orchard, and head out to pick. The helpful people who give you the buckets tell you a bit about the varieties that they grow, and about the colored streamers on each row that tell you which variety is growing there. Here in Central Florida it gets hot early in the year, so the plants fruit early. What's comfy for the plants is comfy for us, so picking is usually in great weather. When you've finished picking enough, you take the bucket back to the table and pay for what you picked. By comparison, what costs you $8 at a store like Walmart costs you $6 at Beck Brothers farm. So go now, or plan for next April, and get enough blueberries to make your jam, your ice cream, your muffins and pies. Freeze the excess and you'll always be ready to eat the berries that your family and friends picked on a lovely Spring day.”

“We went to Beck Brothers earlier today with my young children, whom excitedly shared that whatever we picked would help to make blueberry bread. After being out for less than five minutes, it began raining. We quickly came back in with enough berries to cover less than the bottom of a pint. Tiffany told us that she’d be right back and proceeded to walk out to pick a pint of berries for us. The gentlemen that were there waiting were equally engaging. When Tiffany came back, she so sweetly said that what we’d had would not be enough for bread. THAT was incredibly thoughtful and selfless of her to address the excitement of my children while it was raining. Exceptional customer service, yes, but an even better human with a heart of gold. Thank you so much for today and for being a part of a sweet moment!”

“Finally I made it here at peak season. Tried to go last spring but they were closed for the season, but definitely worth the year long wait! Fresh, affordable blueberries. I filled up a whole bucket for $20! Remember to take cash! Also the young boy who greeted us and showed us the process as first timers was so incredibly kind, articulate and brilliant! And the man who checked us out was super! All in all, great service, great berries, will be back for more berries so I can freeze them before the season ends!”

“Cash only. $25 full bucket. No clamshells. Great little farm nestled in residential area. Parking in front of household that can accommodate about 30ish vehicles. Three types of blueberries 🫐. Attending mid-late April, the plants were variable in available berries. So stated, only took an hour to max out the bucket. It's a wonderful farm experience in the locality.”

“Our first time and the blueberries are super sweet and taste way better than store brought. The full bucket was only $20. Super friendly and an activity the whole family can enjoy. The have restroom around the property and everything so clean and well taken care of. My new to go place for upick blueberries.”

“So happy the freeze didn't kill the blueberries! The bushes are definitely shorter, but the berries were plentiful. Farm is very well maintained with rows of mown grass between bushes. Can easily maneuver through the field as long as you can walk on grass. There were even plenty of people with walkers!”

“Beautiful, peaceful way to spend a morning. Cash only so make sure you come prepared. $25 for a full bucket. They made it super easy and quick to start picking. Will definitely be back! 🫐”

“Nice small farm. Close to town, easy to access, parking available. Please not the farm is Cash Only. A full bucket costs $25 and 1/2 bucked cost $14. Friendly staff. They also sell honey.”
