A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Wisconsin.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.

“I travel an hour from home to visit Berryland every year. I tell everyone how amazing a Berryland strawberry tastes. There's not a store-bought berry you will ever find that even comes close. Prices are always great. The experience of picking your own berries is so fun. It's very simple and there are so many berries that it goes fast. I love that I now have kids so I can bring them to experience harvesting our own food and how fun it is to do so. We also get our pumpkins from Berryland in the fall. We came to play on all the fun stuff they had out in the fall. My favorite was the corn pit. It was like a sandbox but had corn in it. It was an incredible experience for me and my 2 year old lol. The sensory experience alone was amazing. He had so much fun. We went through and played in the inflatable maze thing, the music making station, bowling, giant connect 4, corn maze, huge hamster wheel thing, and haybale slide just to name a few. And ended by going back into the corn sand box. I want one for my own house lol. Thank you Berryland for bringing joy to me and now my family all these years. We love traveling to visit every year.”

“We loved it. A very FAMILY AFFORDABLE FARM. We witnessed several people try to pay more for what they picked and the owners turned it down. They said we want to support families and give them an affordable way to have fun and gather food. Our 10 month old daughter had fun just sitting in between rows of strawberries picking and eating what she could lol. We loved it our time in the fields. They tell you where to start but if you finish your row and want to keep going you can get set on a new row. You can pick as much or as little as you want. Berries are super flavored this year while mother nature' hasn't been supportive.”

“Berryland is an amazing place to get the sweetest and juiciest strawberries! I ordered pre-picked berries and didn't even have to get out of my car. They are very active on their Facebook page and keep customers well informed throughout the season. These berries make the best jam (less sugar recipe even because the berries are so sweet)! This is a family friendly establishment and the customer service feels very personalized. You won't regret having this experience!”

“My favorite place to get fresh asparagus and strawberries every spring! So fresh and delicious with the friendliest staff! I love that I can enjoy the experience of picking them myself when I want to and also get the pre-picked when I don't. I recently got a flat of strawberries and simply sliced them up and served with fresh whipped cream at a BBQ and they disappeared in a flash! So delicious!”

“We picked in late June. Wonderful experience. The field smelled like strawberries! Easy access from the road, plenty of parking, they're super helpful. I like their system for understanding where to pick. Pick as much or as little as you want. Great for families with younger kids because there's no ticket price to get in, you only pay for berries picked. Even my husband said he'd do it again!”

“I absolutely LOVE this place. My family recently visited to pick strawberries. Wow! They had the biggest juiciest strawberries that we ever saw! Even the dogs were eating them! We ate and picked our way through the field and had the best day ever! Great memories were created, thank you BerryLand! The staff there was also super friendly and fun! 10 out of 10”

“We travel from Iron Mountain every year just to pick Berryland strawberries. We are never disappointed. The berries are delicious and sweet. The patches are well taken care of. Everyone is so nice there and will to accommodate even disabled veterans. We will keep coming back!”

“We had a blast. I took my dad with my husband and daughter. My dad was visiting from Florida. We picked strawberries and asparagus. They both were so good and fresh we went a few time. Going soon to pick some pumpkins we can't wait.”
