“If you’re lookin’ for a place that captures the very heart of autumn here in Utah, Black Island Farms is where you want to be. This family-run farm has a little somethin’ for everyone, from a massive corn maze that’ll have you laughin’ (and maybe a bit lost), to towering slides, hay bales to climb, and friendly barnyard animals like goats and pigs that’ll win you over in no time. And if you’re feelin’ brave, step into their Haunted Corn Maze, where creatures pop out from the stalks just to test your nerves, it’s all in good fun and full of spooky farmyard mischief. The pumpkin patch is a dream, with a huge selection of pumpkins and gourds at prices that won’t scare your wallet. The farm keeps it fair, outside food isn’t allowed unless you rent a fire pit, but they’ve got plenty of tasty eats on site, and bottled water is just fine to bring along. If you’re comin’ with a big group like we did with our church youth, make sure you book early. Their group rates are a real steal, and the staff couldn’t be friendlier. The kids had an absolute blast runnin’ around, laughin’, and makin’ memories that’ll stick. Just remember the golden rule out there: don’t throw the corn, or they’ll throw you out! All told, Black Island Farms is one of those places that makes fall feel alive, full of color, laughter, and good old-fashioned fun. It’s a slice of country joy right in our own backyard. 🌾🎃”

“We brought a youth group to the farm and had a great night. Slight drizzle of rain but it didn’t put a damper on anything. We loved getting lost in the corn maze and I was grateful they had employees stopping those who were cutting through the corn! We had fries, nachos and deep fried Oreos. All were delicious. We also got to enjoy some time around the fire. Lots of bugs were out but that’s not anything the farm has control over. I would just suggest bringing bug spray! Even the adults enjoyed sliding down the giant slides and riding on the cow train!! I’m glad they offer a group rate when you schedule your visit ahead of time with them.”

“This was a super great experience to do. We went when it first opened on Saturday morning, and it wasn't very crowded. There's a ton of things for the kids to do, and the hayride with pick your own pumpkin was a lot of fun! We wish that we could have actually petted the animals, that it was more of a petting zoo than just looking at them. But other than that, it was a great experience, and I hope we can do it every year as a family!”

“Great place to bring the kids, burn off some energy, and grab a pumpkin. Our kids loved the tractor ride to get the pumpkins. There were slides, a bouncy house, bubbles to make, a corn maze and so much more. There were food trucks for those who enjoy that thing. Toasted Cheeser was one of the food trucks.”

“Fun little place, but I got the vibe that it was mostly for younger kids and families. Maybe not the best place for teenagers. There were a lot of animals, though I would say it was pricy for what we ended up doing. The corn maze was the most fun for everyone. The pumpkin patch line was very crowded, but then again, we did come on a Saturday.”

“This was our first time at Black Island Farms and it will be our last. From the beginning the staff had bad attitudes. One lady at the front hollered at a family from across the entrance, a girl working the food truck got snippy when we asked for sauce with our food, another lady working in the food truck got short with a customer when the worker messed up the order. We paid $10 and waited 20 minutes for this grilled cheese and they actually took this off the grill and said yep that’s good! Served with some lukewarm canned chili. Maybe 5 tables for all the families to sit at to eat. Overall would have been a better experience if the staff had a better attitude and accommodated for all the people that come.”

“Very expensive considering there was not much to do just some slides a corn box and a maze. All the employees were on edge about everything I'm assuming they aren't treated well. Food prices were OK but they didn't offer the normal stuff you normally see at pumpkin patches. Also horse flies and the place smaller pretty bad.”
