Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Indiana.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

What visitors say

“Bledsoe Farms is the real deal here in French Lick. Come fall, their pumpkin patch is the perfect place to bring the kids or grandkids—wagon rides, corn maze, and more pumpkins than you can count. It’s one of those spots that makes autumn in Southern Indiana feel extra special. And if you’ve never been out for their big Labor Day weekend music festival, you’re missing out. They bring in some big-name acts right here in our backyard—folks like Montgomery Gentry, Saving Abel, Bigg Vinny, and Jake Dodds. It’s good music, good food, and good people all in one place. Plus, you can camp right there after the show, which just adds to the small-town, big-fun vibe. They also open the farm up for other events through the year, from weddings to community get-togethers, and they always do it right. Bledsoe Farms is one of those places that makes you proud to call Southern Indiana home. Five stars all the way! 🌽🎶🎃”

“Great place for family fun!!!! 2024 Edit: back for yet another year of fun with my kiddos! Every year is a new adventure and Bledsoe Farms keeps bringing in new items for everyone in the area- from concerts to adding in to the Pumpkin Patch 🎃 this year the giant slide is available for the children and added a little race track for kids too! Something for everyone- come out to the Farm and have some fall fun!”

“This place has everything! Our three kids (4,3,2yrs) had the time of their lives riding the super slide, slingshotting pumpkins, jumping on the bounce things, and riding the pedal carts. The pumpkin patch itself was the best I’ve ever seen. I think the farmer said 32 varieties of pumpkin and 16 types of gourd. Decent snack bar, too, which also offers cider, beer, liquor, etc. The perfect place to visit.”

“10/10 will ALWAYS recommend Bledsoe Farms!! It is such a fun, family-friendly place! I love that all the activities and attractions are close to each other. Plenty to do for kiddos of all ages. Reasonably priced for all that is included!”

“The grandkids absolutely loved it there, so much for them to do and such a pretty drive to get there. Highly recommend .”

“Absolutely Beautiful!!! & so much to do for the family and the kids really enjoyed the petting zoo!”

“We had so much fun. People are so nice and animals are sweet”

“Food was expensive and not much available when we went. But there was still plenty for the kids to do and see. They had 165k pumpkins for us to choose from and the kids had a great day.”
