Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Missouri.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“I took the family here and loved it. They all came the year before but I was out of town and they enjoyed it that trip too. Their mother said a lot was added this second trip. I know someone that thought this was a lot of money to go to a pumpkin patch, but this is far more than that. They have a bunch of activities for the kids to do and most are free! There are some that cost and that’s ok, like the apple cannon. I will be taking my family there all future years. I already emailed them and let them know that it was great and suggested that they expand to a Christmas village lights walk through. Hopefully they do that one year.”
“3rd year in a row visiting the Fun Farm! Always a great time! There are so many things for the kids to do and see it would be very easy to spend an entire day here. Pumpkin patch, train cars kids can climb around in, along with child size houses, a corn pit, a corn maze, tractors to climb on/in, goat feeding, hay ride, "train" ride, apple cannons, a few carnival style rides, and a lot more!”
“Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for something festive, family-friendly, and just plain fun! This is our 2nd year visiting the pumpkin patch and our little one really loved it. I get our tickets online so it’s a lot cheaper. It’s the biggest pumpkin patch that’s an easy drive from Saint Louis.”
“Our first time at bloomdales, I'm amazed with how much there was to do. Explored open rail cars, played in corn, swings, food, and hayride! There was sooo much more!”
“Fun for the whole family. Wish it was closer, but it was worth the drive as I had an awesome group of people with me.”
