Blue Moon Berries

“6/19/26 The season has kicked off and the blueberries are popping. Come on out to pick fresh, organic berries straight from the bush. The cost is $20 a bucket this year. It is an honor system and they do take Venmo. Nothing like making memories and getting fruit straight from the source. A hidden gem in Powder Springs. This seasonal blueberry farm is a pick your own berries and pay by the honor system. The bucket are available with the price listed in them. You can pay cash or Venmo. Plastic bags are available to place your berries in after you pick. I personally line my bucket with one, so dumping isn't needed. The bushes on the day I went were loaded with berries. Some were ready to pick, but most were still ripening and should be ready later. This picking farm is a legacy from a UGA Extension program. The bushes and berries are organic. Berry picking is a fun activity and tradition, as well as an educational trip for kids to learn where a food source comes from. There is a small farm on the property with goats and chickens. But, this is also someone's personal property, respectfully I looked from a distance. Parking is on the road outside of the entry gate. They are open from dawn to dusk. Depending on the day, double check their website, if the bushes are pickable. Sun screen and bug spray will help for comfort. To keep the chemicals away from the bushes, apply at the car or before arriving. I can't remember when the farm was started, but I certainly will continue to enjoy blueberry picking for years to come.”

“Such a nice place to pick berries. No pressure just own pace. We went on a Mon nobody else was with us. Quiet minus the cute goat who was convinced I had berries for him! Gorgeous berries and so yummy. You can pay via venmo but there is also a cash box. We brought cash not sure what to expect.”

“I was disappointed with my experience at Blue Moon Berries as I left with zero blueberries in hand. The berries they had needed to be ripened and tasted sour -- brought several family members with me and they all agreed. I closely followed BMB's Facebook updates to make sure we went at a good time. Their most recent post indicated they had a lot of good berries, but that wasn't the case. I posted a review on their page in a polite manner, suggesting they update their page more frequently, and they deleted my comment. It seems as though they are not open to feedback.”
