Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in New Jersey.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Blueberry Bill’s Blueberry Farm is a true hidden treasure for blueberry lovers! Not only does Bill grow some of the best, most flavorful blueberries around, but his farm is also an ideal spot for a fun, family-friendly outing. Whether you're looking to pick your own blueberries straight from the bush or just enjoy a peaceful day at the farm, Blueberry Bill’s offers a perfect escape. The blueberry plants he sells are top-quality and guaranteed to thrive in your garden. Bill is incredibly knowledgeable, and you can tell he has a passion for what he does. His plants are carefully tended, and they produce some of the most delicious berries I’ve ever tasted. If you're looking to start your own blueberry patch, this is the place to get your plants! In addition to fresh picking in season, Blueberry Bill also offers frozen blueberries year-round, making it easy to enjoy the taste of summer no matter the time of year. His frozen berries are perfect for baking, smoothies, or just snacking straight from the bag. Overall, Blueberry Bill’s Blueberry Farm is a must-visit for families, gardeners, and anyone who just loves a good blueberry. The combination of quality plants, fresh berries, and a fun, welcoming atmosphere makes it a standout destination. Highly recommend!”

“Bought 5 blueberry bush's and 2 blackberry bush's this spring and all are doing great so far. Planted in 50% native NJ sand/50% petemoss, mulched the drip edge with 3-4" of pine needles and the beds around that with 2-3" of wood chips. I did not let them berry this year to promote root growth (pulled all the flowers after pollination except for two). The two I did let ripen were impressive. Pics of the rows of beds aren't all Bill's - half are from another farm because I wanted a diverse mix of species to promote cross pollination and avoid common mono-crop type issues but each farms are doing very well. Update 8.26.20: after secondary growth spurt I added 1/2 cup of Dr Earth Acid lovers organic fertilizer + 2 cups organic compost under the pine needles on the drip edge. These new pics are all from Bills and showing new growth. Edit 12.19.20: Updated pic. Edit 6.10.21: Few update pics. All is going great. Eating blueberries daily”

“First, just want to say the owner Bill is so nice! You will not be disappointed! When I leave a review it’s because the customer service and/or product exceeded my expectations! We bought 6 blueberry bushes and frozen blueberries during our visit! Bill was so informative and answered all our questions. We went home and planted our bushes (see photo) . The 1 hour and 45 minute drive was so worth it! Thank you, Bill! Have a great season and hope to see you next year!”

“After reading reviews and doing a bunch of research we drove from PA to Blueberry Bill Farms for our blueberry bushes. Bill was so nice and explained everything to us. He showed us around and even gave us a box of frozen berries (my kids immediately started eating them on the ride home) We left with 12 bushes! Would 1000% recommend this place for your own blueberry bushes!”

“Cool blueberry spot south of town. Can't compare it to other places, because I've never been to a blueberry farm before. Prices seemed fair at $3 a pound. The workers on the evening of 7/13/24 were great. Got there about 20 mins before close but they told us to take our time, we still came back around 5 but it was nice of them to offer.”

“By for the most amazing people to deal with. Bill, Jose and Luis you made an incredibly bad day amazing! I will never forget your kindness and hand digging an order for us on the spot. I will continue to get my blueberry bushes from you! Thank you again from your friends at Smiths Berry Farm , Brenda, Dennis and Norman!”

“It’s a Family Affair. Each summer our family comes from NJ and PA to spend the afternoon picking the delicious blueberries at Blueberry Bills Farm. The fields are top notch and the personnel are extremely friendly and helpful. Come out. You won’t be disappointed. And bring your family too! We’ll be back next year!”

“Pick your own while strolling through the beautiful farm in Hammonton NJ The Best Blueberries at extremely reasonable prices We left with a huge bag of the finest tasting Blueberries anywhere!”
