Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Washington.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Visited Blueberry Hills for the first time this summer & we will be coming back every season! The staff greeted us immediately & explained the different varieties we could pick for berries. And invited us to try out their food/treat selection afterwards. There were plenty of berries to pick & they are delicious! We enjoyed several of their flavored lemonades, sorbetto & even some curly fries after we were done picking. We also left with some of their chocolate hazelnut spread from their market stand. High recommend!”

“We love blueberries and never picked them before. When we arrived we were greeted by the owners son, Brady. He went out of his way to show and explain to us how to pick them. Brady also explained the different blueberries and their tastes and what they would be good for, ie; jellies, pies, adding to cereal, etc... We will definitely be back. Thanks again Brady for all your help.”

“Went out picking last week. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about different types of berries. I picked 2 gallons of Titan's in a short period of time for the freezer and decided that I need a lot more, I will be back very soon.”

“Me and my family love coming here every year to get blueberries and ice cold lemonades today we got to have a burger with our nice cold drink the workers here are always nice and welcoming 😁😁 their ice cold lemonades are our favorite”

“Beautiful farm with a big selection of berries. There are some interesting tropical fruit trees as well. The best thing was the lemon stand . Super !”

“Always friendly, love going in July for u-pick blueberries!”

“Great berries, I had a hard time finding the place. Don’t follow google or you will take the scenic route. Call them. Nice young lady helped me.”

“Stopped by around 7:15am on a Sunday to pick blueberries as we have done in the past; however, this time we were greatly disappointed. Instead of finding large bushes full of blueberries and very few weeds, we found a field full of small bushes half-full of small blueberries with many weeds around. Also the bird netting was damaged in many areas resulting in many berries having been eaten by the birds. The owner explained that they had a water problems this year and they decided to not pay workers to weed the blueberries resulting in a very disappointing U-Pick experience. We'll not be back unless they decide to water and weed the blueberries!”
