A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in New York.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Really nice place for blueberry picking! Keep an eye out for the “Blueberry Picking” sign near the dirt driveway that takes you down to the parking area. It’s a really peaceful and tranquil spot. We found lots of ripe blueberries a little walk down the blueberry rows away from the parking area. Perfect place for a day out for couples or families. Definitely remember to pack water and bring a sun-hat and sunscreen! 10/10, definitely recommend”
