A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Michigan.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Love the blueberry lane. I live close by and try to stop in at least once a year for their fresh blueberries. My kids loved picking their own blueberries when they were little. We use to just pile up in the car go to the farm get buckets and make a day out of it. Now we’re so busy with teenagers that we’re lucky to stop for a pancake breakfast. The original owners have reinstated the farm. They have a blueberry festival over the summer that is really cute. If you love blueberries, this is the place to be!”

“So cute and awesome family owned blueberry farm! With really great options of ice cream, beverages, baked goods, honey, pancakes and so many other goodies to be hold. Just a mom and pop shop with their girls who are just the cutest. Customer service is out of this world. Play area is surprisingly bigger than I thought it would be and there was plenty of seating all over. I would recommend this place 10 times over”

“I'm a new customer and a customer for life. This blueberry farm is wonderful! (no pesticides sprayed on their blueberries) Inside, the new owners have a breakfast menu, fruit smoothies, blueberry mustard, muffins, honey sticks, sugar-free jelly, etc. Thanks to abc12 for helping advertise. That's how i found out about the blueberry farm. I saw it on TV. (:”

“Always a great time, it may be hot, you may get blueberry guts on your hands, but you will also create have an awesome time and come home with a year supply of blueberry's for about the price of a big breakfast. Pro tip: blueberrys freeze like a dream and frozen berries acctually work better than thawed for pancakes😋”

“Alot of large blueberries ready to pick. Very friendly owners and associates. Very nice place to spend the the day with family and friends. Very well kept and maintained blueberry farm.”

“They're not kidding around when they boast 40,000 bushes. Well maintained & very friendly staff. Great place for children! Loved it!”

“Cute little farm! It has a wonderful play area for kids, where we also had our picnic. The store had a cute selection of blueberry themed items. Plenty of berries still left on the bushes this late in the season, but the bushes weren't well maintained. Some bushes were too tall to pick and some had thorned weeds growing in them.”

“Nice place to take kids to go picking berries and have blue pancakes, muffins, scones, smoothies. A little mosquito spray would help you though to avoid getting bit.”
