What visitors say

350 reviews on file · showing 8 visitor notes from the listing data.

“Whether you are looking for your next favorite Kentucky wine or simply a respite from the road (the vineyard is only a mile from the interstate), Bluegrass Vineyard is worth a stop. For $6, you can choose 6 wines to taste, as well as a snack (crackers, pretzels, etc). Additional wine samples may be purchased for $1 each. There are many offerings including your standard spectrum of reds and whites, but I think where Bluegrass Vineyard really shines is capturing distinct fruit flavors in a way that allows each wine to stand out from the next. The most difficult decision is deciding on just 6 when there are so many intriguing options! The winery/bar appears to have been converted from the garage of a quite nice home. We were told by one of the servers that the home is rented through a BnB style site. The servers have always been responsive, helpful and quite pleasant. Gracie in particular won us over with her southern charm and authenticity. We enjoyed not only learning more about the winery, but also great conversation with the staff. If you are in the area, stop in for a tasting! Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone in your choices. You may just find a new favorite wine!”

“BEST WINE I HAVE EVER HAD. The owner is a mad genius. I usually don't go for sweet wines, but there wasn't a single variety I tried that I didn't like, all the way to their signature cotton candy flavor. And the slushies are worth trying too! And the staff is so friendly and personable. They give great recommendations on mixing different wines. I can't wait to go back one day!”

“A group of enjoyed a tasting the other day. First, we walked in and saw the tables had games laid out, immediately inviting us to sit down and enjoy our time there. They talked us through choosing our wine tasting and were so nice! We played cards and enjoyed our wines and snackle boxes. It was such a relaxing afternoon with friends.”

“Great lil spot!!! Tasting room is dog friendly for those good puppers!! Cards and games a plenty. Wine was fantastic, flights are a great price and include a snack, lots of choices! Bathroom was immaculate and had a very nice changing table for those with wee lil one’s. Beautiful place, had a blast!”

“We enjoyed a friendly and relaxing visit while sampling some wine. We’re looking forward to enjoying the case of wine we purchased. We rate your place higher if we could. Highly recommend a stop here to break up your travels.”

“Staff is super friendly!! Great place to go and get a glass of wine. They have a great selection of wine!! Highly recommend going here if you’re in the area.”

“Amazing wine at a very reasonable price. Very friendly atmosphere and welcoming of children. We can't wait to come back when the weather is warmer!”

“Great staff! Great experience! Games available for use! Good wines!”
