A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Massachusetts.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Certainly a seasonal favorite for apple picking, pumpkins, gourds, and fall goodies (cider donuts, apple cider, assortment of baked and frozen pies, etc.) Farm store and cafe on one side of the road and pick-your-own apple orchard, pumpkin/gourd patch on the other. Great for families. One caveat for the orchard — not accessible for physically disabled persons or elderly folks where walking up/down hills is difficult or there is possibility of falling. The farm store is accessible and has parking in front.”

“This location is TOP NOTCH! It is the ONLY Farm around that is dog-friendly and they even encourage it. When we were there there was a French Bull dog convention. Must have been 200 dogs and their owners spwnding a lot of money there. We really appreciate being able to take our 4 legged family member with us - even on the hayride! All the employees are in a good mood and the food is excellent - especially the cigar doughnuts and apple crisps!”

“First time there, really good selection of pre-made food like pies, etc.. The apple dumplings and apple cider donuts are made constantly and absolutely delicious. You can even get ice-cream for the apple dumplings! You pick up the dumplings and donuts in the side window. There are picnic tables there to eat if you want to add all. Our friends say the pies are amazing, we will be going back to get some 😁”

“Very cozy spot, lot's to choose from. From apples to artwork and neat trinkets, fresh made pies and ton's of deserts. I really enjoyed there apple crisp and the seating they had in the orchard outside. I also grabbed a fresh, ready to bake apple pie with was really convienent, frozen so you can bake it at your convience and fresh. It tasted amazing and i'll be going back to get some more for Thanksgiving.”

“Delicious breads and baked goods, excellent farm fresh produce, gourds, fantastic fresh mums, cider donuts, and let's not forget the take out window for hot apple dumplings! Love that the farm stand is separate from the apple picking for ease of making a quick(ish) put stop. Is cash only but there is an ATM inside. Have been coming here for 30 yrs easily..since I was a kid. Never disappoints.”

“i just got off the phone with a worker. she was so rude! i asked if the cider is organic and she said “no it’s not, have a nice day bye bye” and i said “wait, im not done talking…” and she hung up on me! i recorded to conversation if the owners need to hear it.. i had a few more questions and i was polite. why isn’t the apple cider organic? what is it sprayed with? people have the right to know what we put into our bodies - especially a farm that comes across wholesome and natural.”
