Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Pennsylvania.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“The owner is extremely pleasant. She answers any questions amd is just very gun to talk to. We visit her often because of how nice they are and how affordable they keep things. My 14 year old with Cerebral Palsy is able to be pushed all around here in his wheelchair.”
“We haven't been at Boyce Fruit Farm for many years but the owner is as gracious as in the past. Nice selection of picked or pick your own apples. Not as large as some other fruit farms nor as in years gone by but fruit is good quality and that's what matters.”
“Had a wonderful time there. Great friendly folks and fantastic fruit, flowers, cider and pumpkin butter!! I’m from middle Georgia, visited my birthplace in Erie. Brought back so many wonder memories. Highly recommend stopping!”
“Super lil Farm Market. Super quality produce, cute shop and goodies. Staff was amazing! Will definitely make this one of our local produce and specialty markets!”
“Fantastic fruits and vegetables and herbs!🍎🍇🫑🍅 Sunflowers in late summer! 🌻🌻🌻”
