Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Pennsylvania.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Family friendly, with TONS of things for kids of all ages to do. They have a small playground, a corn dig play area (instead of sand) mini rope maze, 3 diggers, a bike course, ring toss, pumpkin tik tac toe, and a few more games to enjoy. We have come here twice now for the fall season and they have not disappointed us yet! I highly recommended trying their in house made fruit slushies! I got the peach one in their tumbler it was perfect, no sugar added makes it 10x better then any other slushy around. Their apple cider is probably the best apple cider around, we bought 2 gallons and turned them into our own slushies at home (Add some caramel vodka and holy smokes). They make apple cider donuts using their apple cider, on point. You can also make your own caramel apples.”

“First time here and its so gorgeous! The fields of flowers. They do have an area for picking flowers as well as taking pictures of beautiful flowers. Theres an area for kids to play at. The areas for vegetable and fruit picking are labeled and easy to see/read. Very helpful grounds crew. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable with explaining everything you need/want to know about where things are located. The price is reasonable. You pay at the end. The small shop has an array of items to purchase from flowers to honey and much more! Ill definitely be coming back!”

“Always a fun place; we take the grandkids to the festivals and they not only love the crafts, they actually eat fruits they’d never eat otherwise. We enjoy picking strawberries, blueberries, peaches and apples. We have a cupboard full of homemade jams that we can’t eat or give away fast enough. And you are not going to eat better tasting apple cider donuts than when they are fresh and hot right out of the fryer - period.”

“A real gem with so much to offer. Beautiful fruit orchards where you can pick your own fruit. I had the best fruit slushy in my life. I had them mix the strawberry with the lemonade They had several handwashing stations and even a area providing a bottle of ice cold water for those picking their own fruit. They had stunning fields of zinnias and sunflowers and more. I will definitely be back.”

“Dreamy atmosphere for portraits. Such a lovely variety of flowers! The process of utilizing their space for photos is seamless. Great venue for a session! Very welcoming to children, truly a gem.”

“Wonderful orchard. Fun for the kids and anyone looking for something relaxing to do in PA. Tractor rides, playgrounds and acres of crops.”

“I don’t usually leave reviews, but i read one from a year ago that stuck out to me. I think people need to stop making everything about race. My family and i are also hispanic. We have gone several times. We’ve done strawberry picking, peach picking, apple picking, & we just went back this year to do strawberry picking again. You’re told from the very beginning not to eat anything you pick until you pay for it. It goes by weight. I have small children and even they know to wait. Every time we’ve gone everyone has been so nice and respectful towards us. Did i feel judged the last time i went because my middle child screamed inside the market yes, but we weren’t approached or followed by anyone. I wouldn’t make a review about race just because you didn’t follow the rules. That’s on you. Overall as a hispanic family we’ve had a good experience every time we’ve gone.”

“Nice Orchard for Apple, Pumpkin picking. They have vegetables also for picking. Variety of vegetables such as Tomatoes, Zucchini, Peppers, Egg plant. Flowers etc. Each apple variety is clearly labeled and easy to pick. Wagons are available at the entrance. If we can't hold the basket once they get filled with apples, it is good to take the wagon and keep the baskets. No fee for entry. Buckets can be taken at the entrance for free of close and fill them with either apples or veggies. Apples and veggies can't be together as they will be weighed for a different price. They have play area where all kind of ages can play small games. Very nice place for families or groups. Can spend an hour or 2 here.”
