Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Washington.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“We had a great experience working with Briscot Farm for our son’s 3rd birthday! We reserved the area under the magnolia trees and it was just perfect. It was a great shady area (felt about 10 degrees cooler than in the direct sun on an 85 degree day). The rates are very reasonable and working with the owners was a zero stress experience! They were super helpful, answered all my questions, and even helped unload tables from our truck. They were also super sweet interacting with my kiddos & sang happy birthday to our little guy. The farm has lots of areas to explore but it’s not too big or commercial. They have yard games, a couple of bouncers, fish, goats, donkeys, Clydesdales, mini cows, and chickens. You can buy food to feed some of the animals and they have a small concession stand with fresh made cotton candy, popcorn, smoked corn, drinks, and snow cones. We had kids from 2 to 11, and all of them had a blast! We look forward to several more visits just to play and highly recommend it for a fun party venue!”

“Briscot is our family’s happy place. We usually spend hours visiting the animals and exploring the little forest trails looking for bugs and other creatures. After that, the kids can easily spend the rest of the day playing on the water slide and bouncy houses! There are always yummy treats and cold drinks (snow cones and cotton candy!) available to buy, and we often bring our own lunch too because we know we’ll be there for most of the day. What really makes this place special is Grace. You can tell she truly loves every animal in her care, and that care and kindness shows in everything she does. She goes out of her way to make sure the kids have everything they need to have an amazing day at the farm. We always leave with happy, tired kids that can’t wait to come back!”

“Family owned well priced pumpkin patch that lets you feed animals (chickens, goats, pig, etc) and has bounce houses and play structures for littles. Was all wet and a little run down, but still fun and safe! Also has a spooky haunted house (we didn't try cause of our daughter, but looked awesome!) 👻 little area with pumpkins to buy. Parking was easy but definitely watch your maps navigation, or you may miss the turn lol 😆 easy turn around spot if you do! ☺️ super nice people and we felt very comfortable. Went early on a Friday to beat the crowd and had the place to ourselves for a smidge. 🥰 Will be back next year, but my guess is kids older than 5 or 6 get bored pretty quick.. so we will outgrow it soon!”

“We spent a wonderful morning here! Very laid back farm with lots of very friendly animals to pet. We enjoyed the chickens, ducks, a super friendly cat, goats, donkeys and more. The pig rolled over like a dog to ask for tummy scratches. The owners were incredibly kind, and extremely patient and welcoming to our special needs child. There are cups to food available to feed the animals, and a play area with swings and a slide, and or bounce houses when you want a break from animals. I can’t recommend this enough, especially if you have a child with special needs.”

“Fun little farm, the younger kids enjoyed the bouncy houses/slides and the other activities. We wandered around enjoying the animals and had some great food. Less chaotic then some of the surrounding pumpkin patches. The haunted house in the old house on the property was cool. Atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. Not a lot of bells and whistles but was just the right speed for our group.”

“The people running this place were amazingly charming and so considerate of our special needs child. This is not a big splashy pumpkin patch but is a family providing a great smaller option for folks who just want something to do with the kids on the weekend that is fun and wholesome. The animals are super friendly and very happy to get some food.”
