“Bushwick City Farm is an essential to the neighborhood. Volunteers have been able to make a small community come together for the good of the neighborhood. With food distro twice a week including eggs from the chickies!, helping displaced individuals find work and housing and community events this small space gives us the ability to breathe in an oversaturated concrete area. i’m sure this space means a lot to those who frequent it. Also I just love the chickens!”

“Beautiful and friendly volunteer run farm. Sustainable and incredibly productive (creates a lot of food for its small plot of land). Creates free, fresh food for the community. Highly recommend volunteering if you have the time, or picking up a 1/2 dozen of fresh eggs and fresh veggies if you need/want! Ideal community hub with fresh air and kind people.”
