“What an amazing experience for our family! We chose to go on Father’s Day and we were thankful the bushes were full of berries and there wasn’t crowds to fight! Not to mention, the berries were DELICIOUS! They do such a great job of explaining the varieties and where to look for the most berries. The grass and picking area was well maintained and it was easy to avoid the few ant hills as you could see they treated them. The price was so reasonable and we left with two happy kids since they were given free popsicles! Really nice people own and operate it. What a great family day!”
“Beautiful place! I love that there were several varieties to choose from. They took time to chat with my Dad on area history and checked on us when we were picking. The bucket straps helped free up both hands so we could fill our baskets quickly. Just sorry the season isn’t longer but we’ll be back next year for sure! Blueberry pancakes, blueberry pie and blueberry pound cake. Now what will I make next…”
“Great pick your own blueberry farm with very reasonable prices. Owner/hosts are very cordial and glad to instruct on how to pick the berries, love sharing info on their bushes and even offer tips on growing them yourself. Bushes are tall so no bending or squatting to pick. If you want a glimpse of how east Texas used to look, travel on out to Holly Grove Road.”
“We just went today for Father's day. The man that greeted us was great! Gave us each a little bucket. We picked what seemed like TONS of blueberries. Family of 5 ended up with 3 lbs for $9 I believe. You can eat them as you pick them and they were delicious. There were tons more to be picked. We had a great time 😊”
“Awesome farm ran by awesome ladies! We got 5 lbs of blueberries for $12! And they have several varieties of blueberries so you get to choose what style you like best. Old family farm turned business, with the cutest, sweetest little puppy you ever saw!”
“Lovely, family-owned blueberry farm with delicious berries! There's grass between the rows of plants and it is nicely kept. Try a freshly baked blueberry muffin - it was wonderful. We had a lot of fun and will definitely go back next year!”
