What visitors say

87 reviews on file · showing 8 visitor notes from the listing data.

“This is a little jewel of a farmer’s market in the middle of nowhere on Boat Club Road! Highly recommend with a selection of tomatoes, potatoes, onions, green beans, cucumbers, squash, watermelon, cantaloupe, peppers of various types, pineapple, okra, oranges, grapefruit, grapes, lemons, limes, honey with the comb in, avocados, bananas, apples, and probably more in-season fruits and vegetables. Seemed to be reasonably priced. See my pictures. Support our local vendors!”

“This small-town farmers market has been in place for more than 15 years! Mr. Campos has everything you need in fresh produce, eggs, local honey, and even firewood! There is plenty of parking. So by for a visit and friendly conversation. Just what you'd expect from your local farmer.”

“Everything we've gotten from them has been great and the service is always wonderful. If you like pork tamales even a little bit, make it a priority to buy some from them. We bought some honey there once (so far) and it even had honeycomb in the jar - also very tasty.”

“! Kind, loving, warm-hearted people. Always greet you with a smile and answer any questions you have about the produce merchandise always looks bright, and vibrant, and healthy. Their prices are completely reasonable and I don't see any reason to go anywhere else for your fruit and vegetable needs”

“Hmmm. Not sure how “local” the produce actually is. I was excited to try a farmers market with produce that was actually locally grown but I got home and ever single item had a sticker saying it was imported from Mexico which was disappointing, not to mention, a little pricier….if you’re looking to just buy produce on the side of the road then this is the place for you. But if you’re looking to buy and support local farmers, this probably isn’t the place. I did enjoy the tamales and the salsa, but most likely will not return.”

“Delicious, fresh assortments of fruit and vegetables, peanuts, salsas, honey fresh from the hive with combs inside. Reasonably priced and always better than the grocery stores. Sometimes the fruit is not so sweet very unfortunate for anyone who gets a unsweetened basket. I have purchased more than 4 watermelons and each time nasty no good.”

“The vegetables I got from here were amazing would go back for that reason. There just wasn’t a large selection. I personally kind of felt like they could’ve utilized their space a little bit more maybe opened up the inside of the building and use some air conditioning and offered more things to sell”

“They have a limited selection of fruit - green and purple Grapes, Oranges and tangerines, watermelon, cucumbers, yellow and green squash, tomatoes. I found 2 things that I was looking for. They are very friendly and most items are $5”
