Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Missouri.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Definitely a great place to bring the kids, there is soooo much to do for younger kids and a little older kids (mine are 9 & 10 and were entertained the whole time). They’ve added so many new things since we’ve been about 3-4 yrs ago! You HAVE to try their pumpkin donuts, they’re our favorite around town! Price is a little high but there is so much to do I think it’s worth it for a one time family outing in October. We don’t usually buy the pumpkins here but just enjoy the activities and tons of picture opportunities all over. We were able to bring in water bottles.”

“I wasn't sure if I could get in to visit and not pay admission- My girlfriend and I didn't have kids with us and we just wanted to checkout their fabulous store and pumpkins (and try those tasty pumpkin donuts I keep hearing about) I'm glad we visited! Didn't need to pay for a ticket. I enjoyed looking around the shop, they have a great assortment of gourds, pumpkins, mums, pumpkin butter, various baked goods, candles and decor- we both bought adorable Halloween earrings. The donuts were delicious! It's a fun place to visit with family or just a girls day out.”

“Carolyn’s Pumpkin Patch is so much fun! Our family absolutely loved it! Worth every penny! It was not crowded. There is definitely pride in ownership and no corners cut. It is well maintained and clean. We stayed busy the entire time. You can easily spend an entire day here. Absolutely love that everything is included and you don’t have to pay for each activity separately. The food is reasonably priced and delicious! It truly was one of our families best memories. Wish we would have gotten the season pass! Looking forward to going again next year!”

“It's amazing. Plenty of things for young ones to do. Most of it is free. I do recommend getting the platinum tickets ($32-$37) as you get a free donut, $8 mining bag for free, and a bag of animal feed. They have a carousel, plenty of slides and houses for the kids to play in, jump area, pig races, train ride, wine barn, live music, & so much more! I do also recommend buying the tickets online and as soon as you can because it gets a little more expensive later in the season. It gets four stars cause the mother load bag for the mining area used to have massive amethyst rocks easily 6in or more. Now they are small with very little purple and only just bigger than a golf ball. Wish they could've kept the larger amethysts”

“Best time to go is the weekends because they have more things open. I must be very honest though. Very expensive for one person. There is no discount. If you have a child that is disabled, it's basically three and under. If I am correct that is free. That does not include pumpkins but I say kind of expensive but overall I enjoyed it.”
