Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Pennsylvania.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“We had such a wonderful experience at Cherry Crest Adventure Farm! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our family spent the entire day there from opening to closing, and there was never a dull moment. The farm is incredibly family friendly, well organized, clean, and full of activities for all ages. Our kids absolutely loved the slides, jumping pillows, pedal carts, animals, corn maze, and all the hands-on attractions throughout the property. What stood out most was the atmosphere — wholesome, joyful, and welcoming. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into making this a special place for families to spend quality time together. The staff was kind and helpful, and everything was thoughtfully laid out. This was more than just a quick stop for us — it became a full day of making memories together. We’re already looking forward to coming back next time! Highly recommend Cherry Crest Adventure Farm to any family looking for a fun and meaningful day together in Lancaster County!”

“We had such a great day at Cherry Crest Adventure Farm! Everything was clean and well maintained, including the bathrooms, which is always appreciated. There were plenty of places to sit and relax while the kids played, and we especially loved the swings and the slide. The kids had an absolute blast and there was so much to do that they never got bored. The Apple Blasters were definitely worth the extra cost and ended up being one of the highlights of our visit. The food was surprisingly good, and the entire farm was organized, welcoming, and family-friendly. It was a fun day for the kids and a very pleasant experience for the adults too.”

“Cherry Crest Adventure Farm hosted the WJTL Music Fest for 2026, and it was outstanding. The festival was held the Saturday before CCAF’s opening weekend, yet there were still plenty of activities and eateries open for everyone to enjoy. Between the live music and all the attractions, there was so much to do for the whole family. The staff were welcoming and friendly, which added to the overall atmosphere. My wife and I ordered food from The Barn & Grill, and it was okay. However, I did appreciate that they grilled their burgers and hot dogs fresh to order. Overall, CCAF is an awesome experience for families and visitors of all ages.”

“Lots to see and do. We're a family of five, with a wide range of ages and everyone had a blast! We spent the whole day here enjoying the different activities and still didn't manage to get to them all. The farm is well kept, restrooms are dotted around the farm and are well kept. There are drinks and food available for purchase. Staff are friendly and helpful, we would gladly go back!”
