Cider Hill Family Orchard

“Pumpkins, apples, sweets, flowers, tractors? Yeah, they got all of that. And it's all fun! But that's only the beginning. We used the barn, pagoda and house event spaces for our daughter's wedding and were extremely pleased. All were very pretty, and practical for the various activities my daughter planned. We had a s'more making station using the fireplace in the pagoda, and hay rides around the property. It was a beautiful event. Also the family that owns Cider Hill does charitable work providing meals for people with food insecurities. We need more places like Cider Hill”

“Yeah for family experiences. Yes, this is a must visit location. Friendly staff greets you. We picked apples and pears. These are not your store fruit, but it tasted a little more sweet than what you get at the store. Pumpkins will be soon. They have food now for lunch. It will be crowded on the weekends, so a weekday visit might be best if you don’t like crowds. Easy to walk to orchards and they sometimes have wagons. They also have treats as well. Basically, you don’t leave hungry. They have overflow parking as well.”

“Cider Hill Family Orchard is a beautiful place. We were greeted and welcomed by Martha and Joan who were gracious enough to show us around and tell us about the beautiful orchard. They were extremely kind and generous to us and were so sweet to give us items to take across the country with us. It will be a place we will visit again and again.”

“Beautiful, family owned farm with lots of acreage and family fun stuff to do. Pumpkin patch, apple and pear trees for picking, gift shop, barbecue, and homemade donuts (delicious donuts). They also have apple cider slushes. Hayrides, and picnic area.”

“Absolutely LOVED taking my kids here! The kids had a blast picking apples and pumpkins! The gift shop was fun too! I wanted memorabilia from here, but they didn't have any! Such fun memories made here today! (The apples tasted delicious)”

“The Cider Mill is free and there’s no admission fee. I was shocked to find this out when I arrived. Such a great family, friendly place and beautiful atmosphere.”

“Easy to find with lots of parking. Fun family friendly fall activity. You can take a hayride out to the orchards and pick your own or just grab a bag of the delish fresh apples already picked for you either way the apples are great! We really enjoyed the fresh donuts and slushes. Thank you for an enjoyable day at your farm well worth the drive.”

“If you’re thinking about booking here for a wedding, forget about it. Owner sucks at communicating, to the point where I was double emailing. It wouldn’t be so frustrating if it wasn’t for our wedding, but it is. It’s unprofessional. We went to the orchard to meet and the gates were closed, meaning they weren’t there. We waited, contacted her multiple times via email and phone with no answer until the day after, no apology for no showing. Constantly had to repeat myself about what we wanted as far as packages and our wedding date. And have reached out multiple times regarding paying the deposit to hold our date, no response (shocker) to the point where we gave up. ✌🏼 edit: here is the last email i have received from the owner. Hello I am sorry this has taken so long. I had surgery about a month ago and it took more out of me than I had planned. So am I correct on your plans......You want to use our Special Day Package. You are planning on staying in the Orchard Guest House for the two days over the weekend. I will get a proposal to you hopefully tomorrow. Please let me know of any questions you have......Thanks Joan Mar 23 Hi Joan, Yes everything is correct there. Thank you. We look forward to getting the proposal soon. the last email sent was by ME and haven’t heard anything since. i can give grace for having surgery, but it’s been since march.”
