Columbia Farmers Market

“I’ve been to markets in major cities all over the US, and this is SUCH a lovely gem in the heart of Columbia. The vendors are wonderful and you really have a sense of community here. There is music, open areas for kids to burn off energy(play structures,) bouquets of fresh local arrangements, hot sauce, wood working, butchered meat and fresh eggs, Swahili food, coffee and food trucks! Today the market continued though it was raining, and it was lovely to see all the fresh produce glossy and rain washed :) We got some hot pickles from a sweet elderly couple and it’s safe to say I’m hooked! I also picked up a bundle of cat grass for my kitten :) Bring cash if you can! If you don’t have any you can buy tokens since some vendors only use cash.”
