Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Massachusetts.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

What visitors say

“I loved this place. It was busy, but not crowded, and just had a chill vibe. The apple picking was great and they loaned us a small wagon for our two-year old son. He also loved the chickens, pigs, and goats. There was band playing old country music in the main area and a fire pit with chairs around it. The only downside...no apple cider donuts. But their cider was delicious.”

“We go every year. Live music. Good people. Great food. $25 for 1 bag = 1/2 bushel. You pick or get pre picked bags. Try the homemade preserves, pies and pumpkin cake. Don't forget to grab a jug of cider while you are there. It's very good this year. It's crisp and refreshing and not as cloudy as the supermarket stuff is.”

“Really a nice place very cozy, with great people running it. It’s easy to run into the owner working on the orchard. You walk into the store and you are whisked away by the smell of apple implants cooking in the kitchen.”

“Always a fun time. The farm is in a beautiful location. Picking your own apples at your own pace is relaxing. Is a bit pricey though at $30 to pick your own.”

“A great selection of apples, very clean and easy to walk through orchard. A few cute, animals that are well taken care of and maintained. Lovely views”

“We went to pick apples with our granddaughter. We went mid week not many people. We did get to pick some apples. The issue I had was a one size only bag 1/2 a bushel 30 bucks. Almost seems like they want you to shop in the grocery stores. I say possible invest in some 1/4 bushel bags which they had but not for sale. The reason was they were paper???? And they may get wet and tear. Maybe add a plastic bag inside it. Great spot great people limited picking area.”

“We attended the harvest festival here 2022. Nice orchard, animals to pet, lots of apples, store is cute, cider is good. Hayride to get to the picking spots. Couple kids toys. My son loved it. The festival was great with BTs, Rapscallion and a few additional kids games. Very fun.”

“Today totally ended a family tradition We aways had a great time going for years. Today an extremely rude employee yelled at us, accusing us of pretty much stealing apples. We paid $30 for the bag to collect apples. We went back to the car after picking to split the apples with my aunt using our own bag. This extremely rude old man came out and began yelling at us telling us we should be ashamed of ourselves for taking so many apples. All we took is what we collected in the paid for bag. What gives?”
