Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Tennessee.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Update for 2025: We have been to all the pumpkin farms in our area and this is The Best in my opinion. The farm is spacious and well-maintained, many activities for different ages, the people who work here are nice, restrooms are clean, you get a pumpkin with each entrance fee, AND you can bring in food and drinks to enjoy in the covered picnic area. There are new improvements and additions each time I visit. They also updated the website detail I mentioned in my review from 2years ago. Totally worth visiting! Their website says kids aged 3 and under get in free with a paying adult. However only ONE child 3 and under can get in free with each paying adult. I had to pay child’s fee ($12) for my 3-year old because I had my 2-year old with me. This needs to be clarified on their website.”

“This pumpkin patch was fantastic! It offered a hayride that took you to a corn maze scavenger hunt, and when you completed it you were right next to the pumpkin patch. There were several other stations of activities, a bounce house pad in the shape of a pumpkin, barrel train ride, playground, pumpkin bowling (literally bowling with pumpkins), hay bales to climb, and probably my favorite, they hay crash slide (for kids and adults, a large carpet slide into a pile of soft hay). Admission was very reasonable, a good price for the value, and we got to do every activity there, including getting a pumpkin from the patch (no extra cost). We had so much fun we can't wait to go back next year!”

“Cute little pumpkin patch. We traveled through from Nashville and stopped so the kids could stretch their legs! I DO NOT RECOMMEND going down the big slide if you’re over 25 unless you have health insurance…. I made that mistake and I’m still questioning if I’m going to recover. It’s FAST and your body will do all kinds of flips and turns you didn't know you could do. It’s slicker than a babies bottom but your kids will L-O-V-E it. Our kids spent a good while playing and we would def come back if we were ever in the area again. The guys who worked it were also very nice to our kids! 10/10”

“We had such a great time at Country View Pumpkin Patch! I love all the homemade playground setups — they’ve got that nostalgic, old-school charm that reminds me of my own childhood. The kids absolutely loved it! I also really appreciate that your admission includes a pumpkin — such a nice touch and great value. Huge shoutout to Joe who works there — he was incredibly kind and helpful, and you can tell he genuinely cares about the place and the families who visit. We’ll definitely be back! 🎃”

“Country View farms has many varieties of plants, flowers, herbs, trees, shrubs, etc. They grow all items themselves in hothouses. We went to get tomato, cucumber, and other starter plants and some herbs. Very reasonable prices and they also carry jams, preserves, and chow-chow. That have a fall festival and are in the process of making an RV campground. Karen was very kind and helpful. Highly recommend them for all your horticultural needs.”

“This is an AWESOME place for kids of all ages! We came with kids ages 2,3,5,6 and 7 and they all had a blast and every child had so much they could do! We spent a few hours there but could have easily spent the whole day. We’ll definitely be back and soon. There’s owners are super sweet too. The have very good pricing on mums and pumpkins as well!”

“Just discovered Country View Farm and purchased five of their flower baskets which are just gorgeous. I bought two the first trip (35 minutes each way for me) and then went back for three more. The plants were so pretty, far superior to anything I could find elsewhere. I will definitely be back. Thank you.”

“Great plants, garden supplies & staff ! Prices are the best too !”
