Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Minnesota.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“What an amazing place to spend time with the family. From an amazing corn maze you can get lost in too the beautiful sunflowers this place is wonderful. You can even take a hayride out to the pick your own pumkins or you can visit the stand out front for if you don't want to get dirty..lol On certain days they even look for volunteers to help pick grapes that they supply to local wine makers. Photographers this farm is so picturesque great place for seniors pictures or mini shoots.”

“We went here during the fall season. Good place to spend at least half a day. Pumpkin picking ($5 for regular pumpkin), tractor ride (free), corn maze ($7 per person), slide (free), face painting ($16 per person), Sun flower garden ($7 per person) and corn play area (free) are major activities. Cookies, popcorn and a couple of food trucks were also there. A pumpkin cannon was also there. Our kids of age 6, 4 and 1 also enjoyed the time spent there.”

“This was a fun place to come and see. The sunflower fields were not in full bloom, but I would love to come earlier in the season to see them in full bloom. There were treats for sale, cookies, mini donuts, root beer floats, and more. There were picnic tables to sit at, a corn maze, corn for kids to play in, a pumpkin patch, and more. The sunflowers were $5 per person. Parking was free.”

“This was a fun pumpkin patch. Everybody was so nice the wagon rides are free. There was a couple of vendors there. They have very good prices on their pumpkins and many different selections of squash and different types of pumpkins. It would be a great outing for a family. Dogs are welcome as long as they're on a leash my little pup had fun.”

“An amazing afternoon spent at Crazy Legs Farm! This was a hidden gem for us and not far from our home in the East metro. The food trucks were amazing and there was plenty to do for young kiddos. The corn pit and hayrides were a big hit, the pumpkin canon! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a family friendly vibe.”
