Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Texas.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“We visited Devine Acres Farms for the first time for the fall events. First, it was quite comfortable in terms of the crowds. I appreciate that they limit the number of tickets sold per day. As a couple without kids, we enjoyed many activities including people watching, strolling the grounds and stopping for the many photo ops, playing games like frog Frisbee and water duck races. We loved the Zinnia flower fields, felt the cool breeze while sitting on the bench swings, rooted for Yolanda the goat in the goat races, and cheered for the kids during the donut on a string eating contest. We also ate and shopped in the Mason Jar where we could buy our Devine Acres Farm's Xmas ornament. There were so many, many things to do. We look forward to returning at Christmas time.”

“If I could give this place 10 stars. I would. I recommend paying online for better deal. We did. 😉 The amount of fun our kiddos had left them sleeping early. They were so worn out. Food was great, not overpriced and you get a lot! Yes, it's a little dusty, but it's a farm y'all. We came out from Bulverde/Spring Branch, TX so we had a nice little trip. Thank goodness for highways and snacks. Tried the apple cider donut. It was fluffy and delicious. Highly recommend. Come when gates open, bring plenty of water and some cowboy/girl boots.”

“October 25–We made the short trip to Devine Acres Farm to visit the seasonal pumpkin patch. We tried a few of the massive donut shakes along with the Hot Cheetos Pulled Pork Macaroni and Cheese. We couldn’t finish them but they were good. Super cute place with festive food, drinks, and activities for the fall season. Look forward to returning for the Christmas season.”

“Typical big festival pros and cons! As of Oct 13, 25 Free parking. Military discount offered by free tickets for activities. So it anyways makes you spend money. Hayride ans mini train ride were beautiful. Food options are not cheap but fine quality. I would say the donut milkshake stall is the most remarkable one. Plenty of covered eating/resting area So many things to do! Its not a place you can just stop by. Plan for at least half a day, of full. The missing 1 star is from waitings in lines, i still think it's a little costly. I wish they put some hand sanitizers over the places.”
