“A nice little farm stand with a decent variety of root vegetables (I have only visited during the winter, they probably have other veggies when in season). They sell whole frozen chickens and a bunch of frozen cuts of beef at reasonable prices. You can buy fresh eggs any time and any day, even if the farm stand is closed. A light above the egg chest indicates if eggs are in stock. Cash only. If the owner isn't around you'll need exact change so make sure you've got more than 20s on you.”

“I feel very lucky to live literally within walking distance of Dog River Farmstand, which carries beautiful produce and pretty much everything that is in season. Also local meats and cheeses, and of course, one very important element of summer: creemees! What more could you want? It's a beautiful place, and a fun trip!”
