Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Oregon.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“This place really lives up to the hype. It’s just relaxing on a fall day. The best part was feeding the animals. They have a volunteer handler with every animal helping children feed them and making sure you get pictures from the best angle possible. They gave my kid a quarter to “buy” chicken feed- that little touch was so sweet and memorable. Every building was impressively decorated, seriously professional. The pumpkin patch areas are small but the pumpkins felt like more of a side attraction than the main draw. The nature trail was so fun with my toddler. The trail of pumpkins and hidden animals added a fun twist to the walk. Note that it’s rough and wouldn’t be a good fit for wheelchairs or most strollers (a jogging stroller worked just fine). This place is most definitely worth the entry price. We spent 1.5 hours there and could have stayed longer.”

“Wonderful pumpkin patch located in Boring. This place was great. They charge $25 per car which includes all the activities at the pumpkin patch except for food, drinks and if you want to take any pumpkins home. The 0.6 mile trail is great for kids and families to get a little exercise and tire out the kiddos. The animals were so much fun to interact with. They have chickens, turkeys, sheep, cows, goats and horses! You can even feed the animals if you would like. They also have a small bakery that's has some amazing pumpkin muffins that my son loved. They even have a section where you can pick and clip your own flowers. Overall great experience and we will definitely be regulars from now on.”

“This pumpkin patch is perfect for fun and photos. I liked that there was a patch in the grass so you don’t get muddy but also a rustic one that’s more traditional. Animals, hiking trail with a scavenger hunt, hay to climb, lots of beautiful photo op stations, farm stand, bakery, donut shop with the coolest rocks and gems, a cool black cat, flower garden, fire pit, and tractor ride. I really liked that they gave you a paper that tallied all your purchases and you pay once at the end. The people were very friendly and it is just a beautiful farm with a view of Mt. Hood.”

“Took our 3 kids ages 7, 9, and 10 here today and they had a great time! They loved feeding the animals and going on the nature walk. Everyone was so nice and friendly and the animals seemed so happy for all the attention. There were so many different kinds of pumpkins to choose from. I'll definitely be back to buy some baked goodies and bring home some dried lavender. 😊”
