What you can pick
In October, check what’s currently ripe before you go. Seasons below are typical windows for Indiana, not a guarantee for this exact farm.
Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Indiana.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Driving Wind Berry Farm is a hidden gem that offers a perfect blend of beauty and tranquility. My family and I recently visited and were blown away by the picturesque flower fields that provided the perfect backdrop for a day of bonding and creating cherished memories. The resident donkey, sweet as pie, added a delightful touch to our visit and quickly became a favorite with the younger visitors. The farm's serene environment and welcoming atmosphere made it an ideal spot for both locals and visitors from afar. We appreciated the down-to-earth charm and genuine hospitality that made our experience so special. If you're looking for a place to relax, grab delicious coffee or lunch, connect with nature, and enjoy some quality family time, we highly recommend a trip to Driving Wind Berry Farm. It's a place where beauty meets warmth, and you leave with a heart full of gratitude. Thank you, Driving Wind Berry Farm, for a wonderful Saturday Morning!”

“I had driven past this quaint spot for years and never realized they had a café. Decided to eat lunch here. especially after I saw they advertised Fat Elvis for lunch. The drive onto the property makes you feel like you are headed to a farm amidst the somewhat urban surrounding. I headed to the cafe and ordered lunch. The inside decor leaves you feeling homey with pictures of kids and folks on the wall. My Fat Elvis arrived, and I was a kid again for a moment. Toasted bread with peanut butter, banana, honey, and bacon. it was accompanied by a pickle and chips. It was quiet as the rain must have kept people away. I will certainly return to try the chicken salad. Highly recommend.”

“There is a hidden farm I had never heard of until last year. "Driving Wind Berry Farm." This is a place where you can forget about all that is going on in the world now and just enjoy yourself. If you like picking strawberries, blueberries, fresh plants, or just plain wholesome fun visit the "farm.". The time we spent there included also eating breakfast and I recently had lunch at the cafe. Also, there are specials offered. I have not been disappointed yet when I eat there. After lunch, there is a gift shop with lots of items to choose from and during the summer months and fall, rides are available. I will be going back.”

“This place is so simple yet full of wonderful life! Berry trees to pick and buy, a sweet donkey, a beautiful Cafe with THE BEST!! home cooked pastries!! Even have gluten free options and dairy free smoothies. That was really appreciated as someone with diet restrictions. As soon as you park you can feel you're on a homestead, farm slice of land. Which makes it location that much more cool. Stephanie and Brianna helped me at the Cafe pick out the best options for me and were so kind!!”

Excited to see what I can do for Breakfast on Friday! It is just beautiful, quaint, and gives me all the feelings of being at the Apple Orchard picking apples! LOVE IT! Come support!”
