Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Wisconsin.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Had so much fun here! Walked in and the front entrance made my friend and I feel like we stepped back in time. The store was set up like an old time general store. Once we stepped outside, we were greeted by the sight of a beer garden with live music, plus the sight of a train (a tractor pulling wagons) parked ahead of rolling hills topped with orchards. The tractor took us out to where we could pick our own apples, and we had a blast picking a bagful of apples ($12 for a small bag, and we managed to fit 8 LARGE apples in it). The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and the whole experience overall was wholesome and enjoyable. It was definitely worth a three hour drive just on it's own.”

“Sept 2023 - still an amazing place with great sweets, beers, and ciders. Today we also had wood fired pizza which was incredible, the special with pickles. Mind blowing! Cider slushies too...so good. Sept 2022 - Sweet and delicious! The staff was exceptional too offering samples and making great apple desserts. Blown away by the beer garden though. Wow, some really great brews including their own cider!”

“What a fun orchard to visit! They give apple samples, you can pick your own bag, and they have free tractor tours if the land! Weekends often have food trucks and live music. Would recommend bringing your own chair though. We LOVED the caramel apples. They have beer gardens and hard cider. I thought their semi-sweet hard cider was the best.”

“We loved the live music. Jenna Rae was amazing this afternoon. Fun way to spend a beautiful fall day. You can pick apples, or purchase already picked ones. Food trucks and beer or hard cider was available for purchase. The apple pies and caramel apples are a definite bonus!! Must have a Queens apple before you go home.”

“I photographed a wedding here a few years ago and it was just stunning! Not only is the property naturally stunning, but the owners and staff are so kind and helpful! I loved shooting here! It's also just a really fun spot to spend the day, no matter your age!”
