What you can pick

In August, check what’s currently ripe before you go. Seasons below are typical windows for Oregon, not a guarantee for this exact farm.

Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Oregon.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
  • Payment notes on file: American Express, Discover, Mastercard, VISA. Cash still helps at smaller stands.

“We had our wedding at EdenVale Winery, and we could not be happier with how everything turned out! From the moment we booked the venue through our wedding day, the entire experience was exceptional. Our venue coordinator, Shannon, was incredibly responsive, organized, and helpful throughout the planning process. She was always quick to answer questions and played a huge role in ensuring our wedding day ran smoothly and stayed on schedule. Her support and attention to detail gave us so much confidence leading up to the big day. The venue itself is absolutely stunning. EdenVale offers several beautiful ceremony location options, and the property is naturally gorgeous with its mature trees, rose gardens, and scenic surroundings. It provided the perfect backdrop for our wedding and photos! We also appreciated that tables, chairs, and linens were included, which made planning and setup much easier. The bartenders were friendly, attentive, and helped create a fun and welcoming atmosphere for our guests throughout the evening. We are so grateful to Shannon and the entire EdenVale team for helping make our wedding day beautiful, seamless, and memorable. We highly recommend EdenVale Winery to any couple looking for a gorgeous venue and an outstanding team to help bring their vision to life!”

“Remarkable wines just minutes off I-5 in a National Register old farmhouse. A very different tasting experience with mature, older grapes, some 10+ years in the bottle. I always stop on my travels and it's worth it. Fascinating tastes of merlot, grenache, pinot, whites and cider, aged to a plum-round taste with excellent balance, acidity and fruit. They expanded the dining experience with a full menu (seasonal and 3 nights a week). Hearty food boards make for a full meal too. Bottles and glass pours. Great sunsets and wedding venue surrounded by vines and pear trees. They are members of Harvest Host and have easy access, comfortable flat parking and warm greetings. I NEVER post publicly but I will for this local family. NO TICKETS necessary. This is Oregon, not snooty, precious Napa.”

“Highly recommend stopping here for a tasting. Good wines ages much longer than offerings from other wineries in the area. Tasting room is quaint with nice atmosphere. Lots of places to sit outside and enjoy the demonstration vineyard. Very tasty charcuterie tray. We enjoyed the regular tasting flight and the all red tasting flight. Taja was awesome!”

“EdenVale Winery is one of my favorite places in Southern Oregon. Surrounded by the beautiful Southern Oregon mountains everywhere you look is breathtaking. Not only are the surroundings amazing but there is so much history and character within the inside of their main building! A wonderful place for your wedding day!”

“Stopped in on a whim for a tasting and was very pleased! My boyfriend and I both enjoyed our flights of red and white wine, but mostly enjoyed the pear cider. The server was funny and engaging and the grounds are beautiful. Definitely recommend, only wish we had come earlier so we could have spent more time.”

“What a lovely place! Went on Mother’s Day and had the most delightful server, I believe her name was Lori. The wines were absolutely delicious, the grounds were beautiful, and the food was so good!”

“I had an amazing experience. The only issue I had was that the neighbors were burning some items and it was raining ash on me while I was buzzing outside 😅”

“We thought the wine was ok but not good enough to buy any. We tasted 3 reds and 2 whites. The reds were decent but all had a bite to them; the Cabernet Franc was the smoothest. We both left the tasting with the start of a headache, indicating high sulfites in the wines. The Viognier was good. The Midsummer Cuvée (blend of 3 whites) was not, it tasted like a wine gone bad. I got a glass of Chardonnay during an event held on the premises after the tasting and it should have been opened 10 years ago. I don’t think Chardonnay is meant to age 14 years; when I see a 2012 bottle in the store I run from it!”
