“After a decade at other nearby tree farms, my fam has unanimously agreed that Evergreen Farms will be our new kid friendly preferred spot for the magic that is picking a Christmas tree each year. Here's why we'd consider breaking tradition for a new spot... PROS: + Great pre-cut tree selection, at better prices than nearby and the trees appear to be in much healthier and well cared for state. (We missed the u-cut window so I can't speak to the quality of what they grow.) My tree is up already and I'm very impressed with how healthy it is and how well shaped/fluffy it is. + Even if you buy pre-cut, you still get the magic of the tractor ride because they keep a chunk of their selection of pre-cuts in the shade at the back of the farm. So you can ride that out there. We chose to walk because there were still some rows of zinnias thriving, plus some little bridges to walk over and animals to see. + So many options for KIDS TO PLAY: multiple play sets, a roller slide, pallet maze, corn hole, tether ball, ping pong, smores, pine cone painting, animals to visit and picnic table seating for families in a shady covered area. + SNACKS! They have food and drink for sale - sodas, popcorn, hot dogs. And I was both grateful and pleasantly surprised that they were reasonably priced, and willing to take cards for purchases over $5. + Ample space, never felt crowded or overwhelmed by other people - and everyone there was calmer and friendlier because of it. + Cute but not overbearing little gift shop. + Easy to access bathrooms (not sure if they are ADA, but my young daughter and I fit comfortably when we needed to use them). +  The friendly owners are out and about helping folks and keeping the place tidy, and the kids who work the different areas are very friendly and kind - we were offered at least 3 different times by them to take photos of us and they were good at it!! Only a few CONS for the pickier crowd: - It is smaller than the other local Christmas Tree Farm, so less parking (but the property is the same size if not larger - and easier to navigate) which was not a problem for us but I could imagine it becoming one on a busier day. Especially since the other farm closed early for the season. - For anyone who needs a more intense gift shop experience or more u-cut trees, this might fall short. It certainly did not for us. All in all, I highly recommend you ignore any negative feedback in other reviews and give this farm a try. Finding a Christmas Tree Farm at all is hard in Central Texas, but these folks seem to be doing it with heart and haven't let greed-flation take over - making this worth the drive and time in every way.”

“Highly recommend this little gem to kick off your holidays. We have had a positive experience 2 years in a row at this tree farm and will surely be back again next year! So happy this family run place continues! The young staff are very helpful and work so very hard. We have gotten the pre-cut Fraser furs each year as they have an ample selection, including the big 10-14 footers (which is our style)!! Great customer service from start to finish each time. Our kids also have a great time here and we look forward to another trip back ❤️ Huge thanks to you all for making our holidays special 🌲🎄⭐🌟”

“November 2022 is the first time we visited Evergreen for our Christmas tree and it will now be our go-to farm. It was such a lovely experience. We opted for one of their imported trees just because of the softer needles given we a young child. It is still so fresh and it’s been almost 6 weeks since we purchased it! They have a lovely gift shop and we were able to bring our pup. The first photo is us taking it down and the second photo is the first day we put it up. Very good quality tree!”

“We have a family tradition of driving out to The Evergreen Christmas Tree Farm in Elgin every year for about 10 years now. The sweet family that runs the place is very helpful. The kids enjoy the hayride, games, activities, smores, maze, and everything else. Sure it's a little busier than the old days, but show up early when they open and you'll be delighted at how quiet and laid back this Christmas Tree farm is.”

“We have made picking out a tree from here a tradition, this being our 3rd year. We love it, and the prices are pretty good for quality trees. Only comment I have is they should invest in putting a food truck or some better quality food and drinks, but it’s fun place for kids to run around and pick out a nice tree!”

“I've been to several Christmas tree farms and this is my favorite! It's a small family owned farm, which is why I prefer it it the larger competition. I've always had a great experience here. Come early in the season for the best selection!”

“My husband and I recently moved to Texas from Arizona 4 weeks ago. Being new to the area, we did a quick Google search for live Christmas trees in our area and after seeing a lot of places already closed for the season, we found this farm! Their you-cut lot was also closed for the season, however, their pre-cut lot did not disappoint! We chose this 8.5ft tree. It smells great, super green in color, and so full!! The price was reasonable as well. Service was quick and easy. Glad we found our tree at this farm!”

“We came this evening with our two sons and did not have a good experience. The owners are very rude and it is not a welcoming environment. This is not how we wanted to start our holidays. If you are thinking of going here, I would recommend finding another Christmas tree farm that has a little more friendly, holiday spirit. We will never come back and will be sure to encourage others not to as well.”
