Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Missouri.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“My family and I absolutely loved going to the Exeter Corn Maze! I bought our tickets online ahead of time to avoid the lines. I bought general admission Friday with haunted activities. Then we just went whatever Friday we wanted. Man was it a bargain! Everything was included except the go carts which was so packed! If we want to do that next year, I’ll definitely buy those tickets online too. We got there around 2PM and stayed until about 9:30PM. We did everything! Haunted corn maze - which is probably the most fun we ever had in our lives! It’s just what you think - wandering around in a pitch dark corn field. The bunker and haunted barn. Those are what they sound like, sort of non traditional haunted houses with dirt floors multiple levels, super dark, stairs, a slide just super unique. There’s zombie paint ball and more. Then there’s hayrides, giant tube slides, pig races, and great good. You won’t regret going to the Exeter Corn Maze!”

“Absolutely family friendly. Pretty decent size area. They have a general store with odds and ends. A few food vendors. A big slide, pumpkin patches you can pick your own pumpkin and an area they have set up to just pick from stands if you dont want to go to the fields. They have corn pits and gokarts, an area you can rent for events etc. Went there this month with a few friends, and my brother. It was a great time. Definitely enjoyed ourselves. Would love to come back. I do recommend coming here to anyone. Its a good vibe.”

“A very last minute decision turned into a great date night on Halloween for me and my husband. We expected it to be packed, but we barely waited 5 minutes in any line. Longest wait was zombie paintball because we got there right after the group before us left. There's so much more than I expected! They have a map in the middle to easily find your way around. Prices for admission + haunts were worth it and we would have spent way more just visiting 2 spookhouses separately elsewhere. All the staff was nice.”

“I highly recommend this as one of our best family fun pumpkin patch, corn maze and so much more fun and plenty of food and drink options. All kinds of fun from picking your own pumpkin or mums, usually sunflowers too but they are done already for the season. Then you have your apple orchard for good apple picking fun. Petting zoo, rides including go karts. You just gotta come see for yourself. Nice Fall photo ops as well that are set up throughout. My family and I love spending time here.”

“This place is just wonderful. My child went here with a school group. I felt completely comfortable with my child having a great time and did not worry for 1 second about her safety. There were staff everywhere, at every entrance and exit. Very much controlled chaos. A really good experience.”
