Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Florida.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Perfect Day at Farmer Mike’s U-Pick! Pumpkin patch fun, delicious natural ice cream, and a beautiful field filled with colorful wildflowers and gorgeous sunflower blooms — this place has it all! Our family loved exploring, picking flowers, and soaking up the sunshine. The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and every corner was picture-perfect. We’ll definitely be back for another sweet and sunny family day! 🌻🍦🎃”

“Spontaneously went strawberry picking here after my kids just so happen to spot the bouncy houses from the road. Best decision ever! No regrets stopping here. Was an overall great experience for me and my kids! There was sunflower, tomato, and strawberry picking when we visited in March.”

“Such a great place to pick flowers and take pictures. We picked fresh strawberries as well, but most importantly, we picked flowers for my daughter’s wedding, and they were stunning. Thank you farmer Mike’s.”

“Great outing for all ages. Upick strawberries, tomatoes, sunflowers in season. Lots of fun in the fall as well with hay rides and corn maze. Really happy to have farmer mikes location in Fort Myers!”

“Glad to have found these u-pick fresh garden veggies and fruits nearby right on Gladiolus, in Fort Myers. Fresh tomatoes in season can't be beat. Many types of produce to pick.”

“The strawberry fields are so well taken care of, it was easy to find the best strawberries. After picking, we shopped for tomatoes that were grown at the Bonita location. All of the produce was fresh, sweet and delicious. The staff member was helpful and friendly. My granddaughters loved the play area. Lots of things for both a 9 and 2 1/2 year old to do.”

“Strawberries were a bit past prime but we took our time and found some good ones! So yummy 😋 Tomatoes were excellent too. It's so much fun when you get to pick your fruits and vegetables fresh from a farm. We try to go there at least once each spring.”

“Fall Funfest is a waste of time and money. Sat waiting for the hay ride driver to get back from break. Everyone got off after 20 minutes and no driver. $8 per person to see 2 old bounce houses, a pile of sand, a lame straw maze, a ridiculous "music wall," and a climbing wall made out of single shipping pallet. Pay up to $39 per person if you want a pumpkin and to walk through the corn maze. 30 seconds to pay for the $8 per person wrist band then the clerk with attitude flips around the credit card machine asking to add a 20% tip. A few overpriced food trucks, you park in a muddy field. They offer flower picking, they loan you a garden shear. Then, only after your kids spend 20 minutes collecting some flowers, you return the clippers and are told each stem is $1. This is an antiquated overpriced understaffed attraction. Don't waste your time.”
