“We went strawberry picking this past weekend at Farms View Roadstand in Wayne, and it was a wonderful experience. I was pleasantly surprised to discover such a great strawberry farm so close to our home in Bergen County. Although it was a Sunday morning and fairly busy with lots of families, everything was very well organized and enjoyable. Parking was easy, and the staff kept things running smoothly. The strawberry fields were beautiful, and the strawberries were incredibly sweet, fresh, and delicious—some of the best we’ve ever tasted. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and kind, which made the experience even better. We also loved browsing the farm stand and checking out all the fresh local products. My husband and I had such a great time that we would love to make this an annual tradition. Highly recommend Farms View Roadstand for a fun family outing and amazing strawberries!”

“We visited for strawberry picking and had a great time overall. Admission was $5 per person, which included a paper tray for collecting strawberries. After picking, the strawberries are weighed and cost $5.50 per pound. The strawberries weren’t quite as sweet and flavorful as those from some other farms we’ve visited, but they were still much fresher and tastier than what you typically find at the grocery store. They also had a nice selection of fresh fruits and vegetables for sale, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable. Overall, it’s a great place to spend a weekend or holiday afternoon with family and friends. The strawberry picking is fun, and the farm market is worth checking out as well.”

“I’ve been coming to this farm stand to pick strawberries for over five years. It never disappoints. I’m glad to see that they’re expanding now and having more to offer like the refreshing strawberry lemonade, slushy the vegetables are always fresh and gorgeous and today we saw a little visitor on our trip nestled inside the strawberries a cute turtle. He agrees the strawberries are so sweet!”

“We had the best experience strawberry picking! The fields were beautiful and full of sweet, red, and absolutely delicious strawberries. It was such a fun outing, and both kids had an amazing time, a perfect first-time experience for them. We’re already planning to go back before the season ends. Highly recommend for families looking for a fun and memorable activity!”

“There's no strawberry as sweet as a farm fresh strawberry. Gets busy fast so get there early if you want the best berries! Fun for the whole family, also has flowers and farm goods in the store, which are great, but really we go for the pick your own berries. Wear sunscreen and/or hat.”

“TL:DR - on balance an average rating, good products but relatively expensive, not overly welcoming. Disappointing that they are still charging entry for u-pick strawberries, incl children of all ages. However, it's likely calculated - most ppl will concede to paying it, unhappily, rather than disappoint their kids (whom we all know the picking aspect is really for), and incentivizes buying more product than they might need (who wants to pay more for entry than the strawberries themselves). But did watch many families turn away saddened. The strawberries themselves are better than the grocery store and worth the $5.50/lb. I think a good middle ground would be to only charge adults entry, although their pricing seems to be working well for them. There is large variety of store produce and plants/flowers. Again good quality, but relatively expensive, understanding that it will be more costly than a large store. Would be good if they indicated what is grown by them on site versus what is brought in from elsewhere. For a local, community farm, there were few pleasantries. It's a small intangible but noticeably absent. I think they're mostly busy trying to process as many customers as possible hence lacking the personal touch. Good job by parking attendants keeping everyone organized, or else it could be chaotic with the volume of traffic.”

“Horrible just horrible. The older lady working the Fruit Picking Stand has the most horrible, dismissive, hurtful (potentially discriminatory towards minorities) interactions with people. This was our 2nd and final time we will go there. The 1st time, we had a bad experience with her but reflected within to see if it was something we did. After much thought we decided to go again this season and was thinly accused of stealing strawberries once again. It seems that her focus tends to eye over those that fit the minority category. I am deeply offended and plan to never go there again. I will also inform my circle not to spend their money there. As a business that survives on customers, I am sadden to see that the farm hired a person that hates their job. She has damaged the reputation of this farm and I hope the management see this.”
