“Stopped by the self-serve farmstand in the barn in October. Excellent produce! The red bartlett pears are the best I've ever tasted (my chefs agree). Nice bug-free pineapple quince and a fairly large variety of apples. The pressed cider was all gone, sadly. Other goodies available included concord and muscat grapes, peppers, tomatoes and basil. Would definitely come back next season. Thanks for reserving the two flats of quince for me :)”

“Very friendly folks. Had a good time picking out produce and picking tomatoes. Season is winding down, but I will be back for berry picking in June. And more produce in fall.”

“I would NEVER recommend patronizing this booth at a farmers market as a WIC voucher user. The woman running the booth was extremely rude to me as I was attempting to procure fruits for my daughters and regularly rolled her eyes at me and belittled me during our transaction. I was as kind and humble as humanly possible while being openly belittled by this woman (I was mortified to be treated this way in public). No person should be shamed for using WIC and I was very much made to feel that way. She treated me as though I was stupid and less than and I didn't appreciate it. WIC vouchers come in $4 increments, I don't make the rules, that's just how it is. My total was either 5 or 6 dollars. I was offering 2 WIC vouchers for a total of $8, not expecting anything back because I realize I didn't use the entire amount. She proceeded to argue with me ad nauseum about how much cash I needed to give her for the remainder when I said repeatedly I'd give her two vouchers and expected nothing in return, per WIC voucher use rules. I got several eye rolls, condescending tones while explaining to me how math works (I'm a grown adult who teaches preschool...I know how it works) all while refusing to listen to my simple plea to take the two vouchers and keep the remaining amount. I have never been more embarrassed, insulted and furious at a member of my own community. Think twice before you interact with the public. Maybe have somebody else helping the public if you have such a poor opinion of people who use these incredible programs.”
