Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Texas.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“This is the best pumpkin patch for kids that we have been to. We have a 1, 2 and 5 year old and we all had a great time! You only pay $10 for parking and that’s it, and you can enjoy everything in it! They take cash, credit card and Venmo. There are a lot of games and playgrounds for kids, there is an awesome maze in the very center that kids really enjoyed! You can ride one of the hay rides around the whole patch, there are several pumpkin fields and lots of cool places to take pictures. Small pumpkins are $1 and depending the size the price go up. We bought a middle size one for only $4. We are definitely coming back.”

“Parking was paid ahead and was easy. Just showed receipt. The boys had a blast playing on all the little houses and seeing all the character cut outs. Being able to go out and pick our own from the field though obviously not grown where they were was tons of fun. Found a heart shaped one we wrote family and love on. It was fun.”

“Great experience for the family, kids will enjoy the tractor ride, the haystack maze and the food. Plenty of pumpkins of all types. Jack-o-lantern, pie pumpkins and heirloom. Come out and enjoy the day. Entrance is on Lusk lane, be careful it's only a two lane road and there is some traffic. Again great place for the family.”

“Gets better every year! A total blast for the kids! This year they had tractor trailer and train rides, giant stacked up hay to claim, painted wooden cartoon characters, and oodles of little play houses. Plus wide selection of pumpkins for sale”

“A little sad they were closed this year. We take our annual pumpkin patch trip here and was looking forward to it this year. We always have a great time and enjoy the hay ride.”

“It’s a nice experience to be here. Beautifully arranged characters with the Pumpkins. There are not much varieties of pumpkins here, just the orange ones only. Pumpkins are were thrown here and there and people were adjusting as per there needs. Do remember to book online before you visit. $20 for weekend and $10 for weekdays. During this COVID time, it was a complete chaos. So many people without masks. You need to be very careful, specially with kids. We thought that as we reserved the time online, so people would be in limited numbers, whereas it was opposite. Uncontrollable crowd. Poor management of the crowd. There will be too much dust, so do keep water to clean your faces later or take wet wipes with you.”

“Great place for families! Lots of wooden cutouts of cartoons and characters. Slides, food, hayride, and lots of PUMPKINS. My kids loved it! Too bad it was sweltering when we went. Would have loved to stay longer. That’s Texas for ya! Pumpkins are pricey, parking fee is 5$ weekdays and 10$ weekends. They also had little wagons/radio flyers to wheel around your pickings.”
