Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Minnesota.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Great selection at an affordable price!”
“Picking time should be open in the morning when flowers are not stressed fom the heat of the day! I felt the selection was very limited. Some were either entirely picked over, or not flowering yet. For the steep $25, you'd think they could offer a paper cup or plastic bag to keep the flowers hydrated for the trip home. Disappointed!”
