“The best cider & donuts EVER. I prefer the spiced donuts over the cinnamon sugar ones and Franklin is perfect. We visited on the day of the first snow and it was dead because it was freezing, but no lines and it was very easy to grab and go. Despite the weather, everyone was still so friendly. We had to go back for more before we left town. So we visited again on a beautiful sunny day and grabbed a bag of McIntosh apples as well and it was so worth it. When we visited they were offering different types of apples, apple sauce, apple butter and jams in the tent outside. Love this place! Just as good as it was 10 years ago.”

“I visited the Franklin Cider Mill yesterday, a gorgeous November day. I hadn't been to the Franklin Cider Mill in years. It was a place my family visited yearly when I was a child, and it seems that not much has changed over the decades. Yes, they now have a store that sells jams and jellies and even t shirts plus a hot dog stand, but the Mill itself has not changed. The old water wheel continues to turn; the press still presses apples daily, and the cider and donuts are still delicious. The staff is warm and friendly. The Franklin Mill is still a great place for the family.”

“Recommend! Loved it! Hot fresh donuts, fresh apple cider, great vendors and items. Visited on the weekend and it was very busy but parking was manageable and cars moved in and out good. Indoor and outdoor ordering stations for cider and donuts items. Tents set up with different items and vendors as well as a pleasant band performance. Viewing area indoor of their cider being made as well as the old wheel that powered the mill. Service was very friendly and helpful, ended up leaving trying almost everything or going home with most it all. Recommend a visit!”

“The Franklin Cider Mill is a wonderful experience for a date or a family outing. I loved that the mill was open to see the history of the area and to see where the apples are pressed. The donuts and cider available for purchase are AMAZING! The jazz music and the environment was so welcoming. What an amazing day! 💚”

“Nice small cider mill that has such a nostalgic feel. They sell cider, pies, donuts, bread, pumpkins, hot dogs, roasted corn and more!! Great cider mill to bring the kids. A small stream where you can feed the ducks, sit and sip cider and eat donuts!! Be careful of the pesty yellow jackets!!”

“I've been told for years to try the donuts here as well as the Cider marinated hot dogs and their roasted corn. So, I took a drive. It's a beautiful mill. Beautiful scenery. I went on a Tuesday morning. Parking was plentiful. The donut was small, with a bit of crunch. It's ok. They don't do cinnamon sugar just plain. Though you can buy a packet to shake on. Got a small glass of cider that was yummy. The hot dog was $8 and nothing special. Wasn't worth it. And unfortunately they only have the corn on the weekend. If you're in the area why not stop and walk around. It's a pretty area and they do have carmel apples, spiced nuts, and other treats to try. They also sell honey and apples and such at an outdoor market in the tent.”

“We appreciate the history of the cider mill however, the parking lot is small and it’s overcrowded and nobody’s directing traffic then you get in long lines for small donuts and expensive cider. The cider taste great but it is not cheap. Its small place it takes less than 10 minute to see everything”

“If you want sugar and cinnamon on your donuts you get plain donuts. Would of been nice if asked if we want plain or sugar/cinnamon. I don't get that at any other Cider mill. I haven't been here since 1996.”
