“We had a great time picking blueberries in August. Went in the morning and place was not crowded at all. Had a whole area to ourselves. Blueberries were yummy and had a great time. Friendly staff at the place. Price was per weight. I emailed them earlier and they replied a detailed email with all details including pricing. Their website has what’s available for picking and at the stand. Better to give a call ahead to make sure picking is available.”

“Love going to G&S. They have by far the largest variety of fruits and veggies to pick. We have so much fun digging up our own potatoes. The cherries this year were out of this world too. We'll be back next year!”

“Great place to pick currents, cherries, and all kinds of raspberries. It's well maintained orchards and berry patches are a great place to pick fruit. It is a bit pricey and cash only is accepted.”

“First time here and had mixed feelings. I liked that there was a wide variety of berries to pick. What I didn't like was how unfriendly the two young ladies working at the entrance were. We walked up and the girl didn't say a word, no hello, hi, or anything. So we initiated the conversation and said that it was our first time here, still a blank stare from the girl. I asked what the process for picking was and then she finally, in a very monotone voice, explained the process and where we'd find the berries, and then right before handing us the bucket said "Oh and we close in 25 minutes." I didn't mind that she said how long until they closed, but it was how she said it, it came across like we were a burden by being there. The whole time we were picking berries, we felt like we had to rush because it was clear they were giving us the "bums rush" because the 2 girls working wanted to leave right when they closed. In the end, we were able to pick the berries we wanted but after this experience, I don't think I'll come back here again. I understand that businesses have a certain time they close and they don't want people lingering forever but there are more friendly and lighthearted ways to gently remind people when you close and how much time they have left. The 2 girls working didn't want to be there and were visibly annoyed that we showed up when we did. The funny part of it all is that at least 3 other cars pulled in after us and one group was "arguing" with the one girl because the sign at the street said they closed at 1, and it wasn't 1 yet, but she was telling them they were closed.”

“Have been frequenting for years, to both the stand and u-pick, and u-pick is not what it used to be. SO many rules, to the point where employees are badgering you to not eat 1 extra berry without paying a penalty fee (seriously, it happened). Not to mention, we got kicked out early and then the young employees working the check out were extremely rude to every paying customer. Some elderly and non-English speaking individuals were ridiculed for not following the check-out "rules" in a timely manner as they were trying to get customers through the line. One young girl working there yelled at a poor old lady. It was digusting to watch. You can clearly tell the employees do not enjoy their job and make the whole experience miserable for everyone. This is not acceptable behavior, especially bringing a young child with me. I do not want them learning and witnessing such crude individuals. Picking berries should be a fun, enjoyable, and relaxing experience in nature, not where you have authoritative teenagers barking at you the whole time. I'm sad because I really love the produce and know that the owners are doing a great job with ethical growing practices. But I will not be going back due to the unfriendly staffing. Definitely lost a long time customer (last u-pick 7/8/25 @ 12:45pm).”
