“We had a blast. We went on Saturday the 12th on a whim, and parked at a gas station down the street. Parking there was $7 cash, which we didn’t mind. We walked and enjoyed the weather. There’s a $10 entrance fee, and they had police and volunteers directing people the whole time we were there. Everyone that was working the festival was kind and in high spirits. Was it a bit expensive? Yes, of course, but we read the website and knew to expect cash only some places. But almost all of the places we went had card options, and we didn’t even need the cash. I got some Christmas gifts for family there and we saw some really beautiful pieces of art. We enjoyed trying the local apples, as well as the different treats they had available like apple dumplings and cinnamon sugar apples. Also they had a wide variety of food options for sale from Greek to Philly cheesesteaks to classic fair food. One of the places had large glasses of iced tea for $4 and refills were only $1, so we didn’t have any problems there. It was what we expected it to be, vendors with homemade items, rides for kids, live music. I’m not sure why people are so upset. We had a great time! Just come in with the expectation that it’s going to be a relaxing day of enjoying the weather and walking around talking to folks. If you want to avoid parking problems, go early. But as for the steep hill, even though we didn’t park up there, they had about 10 school buses shuttling people up and down. You weren’t forced to walk it, but you could if you wanted to!”

“I love me some good food, so this festival was perfect for me. They have a lot of vendors to choose from. The prices aren’t too bad for festival prices, so everything was worth it. Not shown, was a Waffle on A Stick, which was SOO good. All the vendors were sweet and most were letting people taste test things before buying, which is perfect for us, because we bought most things we taste tested Haha. Just wish there was a few more options for Apple Related Stuff. We only saw Apple tacos and Apple ice cream, but couldn’t really find anything else. But it was still a fun day spending time with my family. Was hard to find a parking space closer to the festival, since we got there after they opened, but we managed, so I suggest getting there as early as ya can!! But overall, can’t wait to go again!”

“Enjoyed spending the day walking around looking at the crafts & meeting the vendors. The food was on the high side but the pineapple was delicious 😋 I was looking forward to eating some Brunswick stew from R&A Orchard but I didn't see them. Not many places were set up with apples so that was a little disappointing. The cost was $10 to get in. Last year it was $15 which was crazy. Overall, we enjoyed the day just hanging out & walking around.”

“Visited the apple festival for the first time this weekend. Shuttle from downtown was efficient and timely. Definitely suggest a shuttle verses parking on the festival property. Enjoyed the booths and exhibitors and bought a few fun things for home and grandkids. Will be back.”

“This was so much fun! I loved that they had street signs for the vendor lanes so you could keep track of where you are and where you have been. A great selection of vendors with a variety of products and food choices. This was a great experience and we will be back!”

“It was a lot of fun. Many arts and crafts, people and food. Everything Apple. The parking on the main fairgrounds is $5.00 and 100% of the money collected goes to the Boy Scouts. Safer to park there then to park at a gas station for $7.00 and walk your family on the side of the road.”

“Large crowds, parking isn't close and my disabled vet plates ignored so badly we had to park the furthest away we could. Expect high prices on many mediocre things”

“Definitely read and believe 2024 reviews!!! Parking it’s horrible and expensive. You have to pay entrance $10.00?! It didn’t have enough vendors foods, they had no signal to charge you by card. Everything was overpriced. And plus 1 hours to park. Do NOT bother to drive from far away.”
